Have to wait and see gftChris. Hope you're right, but is an easy target for London media. Got my ticket for that one, though my sister has selfishly decided to get married the day before!

British Parliament Members don't approve of the Washington Redskins NameDefinitely think members of the British Parliament need to stay out of this one, but no chance of that happening when there are loads of minority communities in London and the opportunity to promote oneself is just too tempting. This story will only get bigger in the UK am sure once season is underway.

Scheme Induced O-Line Personnel ChangesInterestingly you just picked up Terrell Watson from the Bengals. Watson is an explosive power runner who Bengals rate very highly and definitely did NOT want to give up, but we have too much talent in this position. Good pick up by the Browns IMO.

Hue Jackson HiredHue arriving at Browns HQ in Cleveland

Hue Jackson HiredGreat hire, I can here the chant already, " Hue Dey Hue Dey Hue Dey says he gonna beat those Bengals.
Not sure he's gonna draft a QB though. I feel more a trade deal or free agent acquisition on the horizon. Have to wait and see.
GO BROWNS !!!!
Dat's funny. Shame you'll never a chance to sing it!

Hue Jackson HiredCongrats! Loss to the Bengals, but he deserved another shout as HC and looks to be a great fit for the Browns.

Cheap Shot Stealers Weather Burfict StormI believe you're just another butthurt moron.
Steeler penalties - 10 for 142 yds., Bengals 8-79...and 2 of those occurred toward the end of the game when 2 Bengal thugs lost control, losing it for their team.
And since you're so butthurt about one Steeler coach being on the field...

Furthermore, can we put to rest Shaziers hit?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/01/11/shazier-non-call-was-the-right-call/
Only if you accept it was a deliberate hit with the top of the helmet that could have caused serious damage, that should have been penalised, and for which Shazier personally apologised to Bernard afterwards. Notice by the way on the film of the game when Bernard is on the ground Munchak is also on the pitch trash talking to Kevin Huber.
I totally accept the Bengals lost control over their emotions at a critical point of the game, for which they must accept responsibility, and learn a lesson. The Steelers played Burfict and Jones. Burfict's mistake was that he had the opportunity to avoid the hit and didn't take it. Otherwise he was in a great position to do his job, which was to make sure Brown didn't catch the ball and win the game. Committed to the hit Burfict clearly leads with his shoulder and Brown leans into him to make sure of it and then does some impressive ballet moves before collapsing on the ground faking a bad injury and as he is walking on the field he winks at the Bengals players. Job done.
Porter then seizes his opportunity to try and wind up the Bengals players further. Worth a try, after all they are hot heads that have proven they can let their emotions get the better of them. So he trash talks in the middle of the Bengals players and gets his flag. Steelers win the game.
Steelers have been cheap shots artists and thugs for years. So when Lewis takes over, his long strategy to compete with them for the AFC North is to beat them up in the trenches and draft really aggressive LB and S. This has been a very successful strategy. Bengals should have won the AFC North for the last 3 years. Steelers can't really handle this, they are used to dominating the AFC North. So they have to compete any way they can, by stigmatising very talented players as aggressive to the press, over reacting to hits by those players and if needs be breaking the rules by faking injuries and letting assistant coaches run on the field.
It's a lesson for the Browns too. Hopefully the Browns can build up a really competitive team and we can have a situation where it is the Bengals and Browns competing for the division, as I have absolutely no respect for the Steelers and the Ravens. Both really classless franchises that I take a lot of pleasure out of seeing beaten up, but with legal hits and I'd take even greater pleasure seeing this done by players who maintain their poise and control.

Cheap Shot Stealers Weather Burfict StormHey if Cincy wants to make Jackson the HC and let Burfict go....bring em to Cleveland. Absolutely 100%. I'll let Marvin build the same defense here that he built in Cincy and you all will love it when they beat up the little squeelers. Frankly, I'm not saying i'd be "happy" that the Bengals lost if I was a Bengals fan....but at the very least i'd have some smug self satisfaction that my team beat the fuck out of Pgh even in loss. That's all i give a fuck about anymore. I want a Browns team that beats the fuck out of people, especially the Steelers and Ravens, even when the lose. Any of you that wouldn't want Marvin Lewis in Cleveland are flat out Retard. With Dalton in that game the Bengals win. If Pgh had to have played the game from teh beginning with Landry Jones, anybody thing they would have won? pffftttt
It really does help with recovery time

Cheap Shot Stealers Weather Burfict StormI love the Bengals D, truly do, but coaches have to get control over their players and especially in crucial points of the game. Now hearing rumours that coaches have been over-looking ill discipline from certain unnamed players on the D in practice and during meetings throughout the year. I bet the Steelers are afraid to play the Bengals now though. Frankenstein's Monster.

Cheap Shot Stealers Weather Burfict StormBengals threw that away. Game was won and we threw it away. Let our hatred of the Steelers overcome us. My only consolation is that we have hopefully fucked up Steelers chances of progressing. That was deliberate by Burfict at the end on Brown, am sure of it, he just couldn't resist temptation to ring his bell. Jones was just fucking stupid too. Steelers are just as cheap shotting as Bengals are, but the refs and media love them. But despite all the help for the Steelers, bottom line is the Bengals had that game won and threw it away. Hope if the Browns build up a team as talented as the Bengals have right now, they don't do this to their fans, but actually live up to their potential.

Who's Your Guess?I think Hue will be very successful in his 2nd term, we'd be lucky to get him.
I think you could attract a number of good coaches, not buying into the idea that no one wants to come to the Browns. Storied franchise with a great fan base and an owner that clearly cares and wants to win.
I like the comment about Hue. Think he has learned a lot from his tenure in Oakland, he is a good motivator and a good coach, plus knows the AFC North inside out. if he was your next HC I think he would be a good choice.
