4.4 YPC, 73.6 YPG
He led the league in fumbles though sadly.
If you look at the way his sentence is written, he said there's 8 fumbles, 73 YPG. Not 8.73 YPG

FFS wait till the ESPN announcement before you start crying. You're going to be eating those words when he re-signs with Cleveland. Don't trust these stupid media reports until Lebron says it himself. These guys will say anything and everything to get attention, especially right now. Don't you understand that?
It's only another 7:30 hours until the announcement. Go play golf or watch a few movies or something.

Bosh is going to join Dwyane Wade and the Heat after all.

Boozer just signed w/ Chicago also.
Are you thinking of the place on the West side of the Flats? Used to be D'Poo's? Or The Watermark? It has been quite some years since I have gone down that way....the places I mention have probably gone out or had name changes long ago.
Honestly I don't remember where exactly. I know it's been there forever though. Basically there's an upper portion that's like a big wooden deck where the bar is, and then there's a lower restaurant that goes out on this little pavillion which sits on the water. You have to go through another restaurant to get back to the outdoor area, but it's a fun place to go eat. I'll find out the name of it tonight and post it.
Sushi Rock is an excellent sushi place down in the Flats. A little pricey, but fantastic food and not a bad walk from the R&R HoF. There's also that one restaurant right on the water, the name escapes me but if you've been down to the Flats you know which one I'm talking about. I think it's the Dock Waterfront Pub and Eatery but I'm not 100%. They've got pretty good Seafood and some other Pasta dishes and steaks that are good.
Big pluses for Put-In Bay and Jacob's Field. Those are wonderful things to see and experience when visiting NE Ohio.
Having been born in Cleveland and having spent a few years living there for College, I can tell you one thing: Cleveland is Football.
So when you talk about Art Modell, even the average Browns fan gets a bad taste in their mouth. There's nothing good there for most folks and you certainly can't post a thread painting one of the city's most infamous villians in a positive light on this Browns forum, of all places, and expect people not to respond angrily or in a heated manner.
Cleveland takes sports personally, so when something like this happens, it wasn't just that the Browns were gone and that Cleveland didn't have a team. It was the fact that the fans were personally insulted, like someone had seduced their wives or sisters, and then laughed in their faces like it was no big deal. It might have even been worse than that, I don't know. I was just a kid when that all happened, but to the direhard fans, seeing the Ravens in the same division, and seeing them win the Superbowl in 2000, just adds even more insult to injury.
That was supposed to be OUR team. Ray Lewis was drafted in 1996. Jonathan Ogden was drafted in 1996. Two HoFers Cleveland was screwed out of. So instead Cleveland lost 5 years of football, and we've had to endure another 10 years of a pile of crap, which hopefully Holmgren and Mangini can turn around finally.
He's obviously done a lot of great things for the NFL, but what's he's done to Cleveland carries more weight than those things. I just can't see them being willing to endure the protests and vandalism that will occur if they try to induct him into Canton over the next 20 or 30 years.
Hoorta, he's trolling you. That's all gmp does. There was already an Izzo thread but he made another one just to troll. It's best not to feed him 🥷 .
Yeah, Izzo's got way more loyalty to MSU than LeBron's ever shown to Cleveland and the Cavs. At least Kobe signed his max offer- LeBron's not only screwed Cleveland out of potential FA's by not re-upping last summer, now there's not a potential quality NBA coach who will sign on the dotted line until they know what LBJ's gonna do after his glory tour. I'm liking the guy less with each passing day.
LeBron has done everything he's ever been asked to do in Cleveland. He can't win a championship by himself. The truth is he's done nothing but good things for Cleveland. He's annihilated the record books, he's put up triple doubles in games the Cavs have lost in the playoffs, he almost single-handedly turned around the franchise in a single year. The man has a right to be in control of his future. He hasn't walked away from Cleveland yet and the reason he hasn't told us where he's going yet is he wants to make sure he makes the best decision. To do that, he needs to have all the options available to him. This may be the only chance he gets to control his future for the next 6-8 years. Wherever he goes, it'll be long term, and he knows that. He has to make sure he makes the right choice or he'll be spinning his wheels.

Byron Scott is the next option for Cleveland's coach and he might be a better choice than Izzo. The bottom line is LBJ didn't know they were gonna fire Mike Brown, and he didn't have a part in it and he can't let their decision to fire Mike Brown influence his silence on where here's gonna go. Two weeks from today, and we'll know. Not a minute sooner.
Lebron or no Lebron, the man doesn't turn down a multimillion dollar pay raise if he doesn't love where he's at. Props to Izzo for going with his heart and where his passion is.
I can't see them paying Delhomme what they paid him to not be the starter unless Seneca is just /that/ much better. I agree with Ballpeen's assessment. We're so used to a QB controversy that if we have more than one QB on the roster, there's automatically a competition.

That source discussed Izzo's future with a close confidant of Izzo's who is coaching in the NBA. The source told Katz that Izzo, who talked to his team earlier this week about his interest in the Cavaliers, is leaning toward taking the job if it is offered."Three weeks ago that wasn't the case, but it has changed,'' the source said.
A source within the Cavaliers organization told The Associated Press that Izzo will be in Cleveland to meet with the Cavs and tour their facilities. He arrived at Burke Lakefront Airport Thursday afternoon.
Izzo did not give any indication of whether he would take the job, but a source told Katz that Izzo told the team he has a lot of thinking to do.
It's one position that we haven't had to worry about for the last 10 years. It would be nice if we could get another year or two out of Phil before he retires.

Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis denied to the The Associated Press that the Cavs have offered Izzo a contract but confirmed the team is interested in the Spartans' coach.
"There is not a contract offer on the table," Hollis said in a telephone interview with the AP. "Last week, there was talk that Chicago and New Jersey were interested. If I was anywhere but at Michigan State, I would be interested in Tom, too, because he's the best coach in college basketball."
A source told ESPN.com's Andy Katz that Izzo told Michigan State that he hasn't been offered a contract and a lot of the reports have been blown out of proportion.
These media guys are just that - media guys. They don't know jack crap about anything usually. So their jobs, when information isn't flowing, is to spin stuff however they want to draw attention to their article and make money for whatever media agency they're working for. And they do that with fear, with far reaching twisting of words (like the ESPN article you linked) and sometimes outright lies and misinformation just to get you to read their article or watch their tv segment.
Lebron isn't telling us anything because this may be the only opportunity he has at free agency. He wants to see what options are out there. If he tells us his intentions, he ruins any offers and competition for his services. He signed his contract on purpose, knowing full well in July 2010 he'd have a choice and be in control of his life, rather than chained to one organization without any options. It's a very very smart business decision. That doesn't mean he's leaving Cleveland, and it doesn't mean he's staying in Cleveland, but really, these media pundit "experts" will do anything for a story this time of year and often times they take one or two sentences so far out of context just to make a point that usually isn't true.
The fact is the only people that know where Lebron is going right now is Lebron and his advisors. That's driving the media nuts (and the fans) but we're all just gonna have to wait till July.
Would be pretty awesome to see him bring another star free agent to Cleveland with him.
I don't know the salary cap situation, but I think that's one thing people haven't talked about much. What if Lebron not only stays, but brings a key player from free agency with him? It's possible isn't it?
If Lebron goes to Chicago, Obama WILL lose Ohio votes, I promise you.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who was rubbed the wrong way when he used his Presidential powers to run videos at the NBA All-Star game, or insert an annoying TV commercial several times during the Thanksgiving Day Football games. It's one thing to be a fan, to wear the jersey and the hat and be a guest of honor at a game. It's another thing to try and use those high ratings outlets to try and influence voters with a socialist agenda.
I love the article that asks Obama what he would do if he was the NBA commissioner for a day. What would you do? Lower ticket prices! NBA games for all!

That's a really cool picture of Holmgren and Jim. Obviously there's much respect between those two, and since Jim is very important to our organization, I'm sure Holmgren went into this knowing he had to handle this correctly or risk alienating a lot of people. How do you tell a legend that you don't need what he's been providing anymore? Probably not very easy to do.
Wave to the not-so-friendly resident troll folks! His sentence completion skills are at an all new low.

2/10
@ Coach K.
He doesn't want to coach anyone else but Duke, so it's nothing against the Cavs or not that he doesn't want to coach Lebron. He has had opportunities to coach several teams in the NBA and turned them down.

ESPN confirms it this morning.
