Browns Looking At At Trade With The Dolphins -
Browns Projected To Trade The 6Th PickI agree Geno Smith could factor in a early trade but moreso I think an OT will be a factor. Alot of teams need Oline help which is one of the browns strongpoints.
The Browns ability to move up or down will depend on someone wanting Geno Smith or one of the top flight DE/OLB prospects. Either way, no team is going to move more than 3-4 spots, that's all but certain. I think the Eagles are by far in the best position to move down if Geno falls. However, with Carson just now being traded it be time again for the Raiders to take a tall black QB with its top pick. That is of course unless they believe Pryor is the next Steve McNair.

Browns Projected To Trade The 6Th PickLOL Do you really think you are gonna hear a GM or Coach come out and give direct word of priliminary talks of a draft trade?? Come on now you will never have that hard evidence that would take to convince you. Off the record is the only thing you will hear until draft day after the trade.

Browns Projected To Trade The 6Th Pickhttp://www.dawgsbynature.com/2013/4/1/4169414/dolphins-enter-preliminary-trade-talks-with-browns
Here is some prelimary talk info in regards to the browns looking at trades. Now you cant say Zero proof.
I've seen ZERO proof of any offer from another team.
Just because we want something doesn't mean that other team wants [or has any obligation] to trade with us.
Would Miami or Minnesota or St Louis' picks be useful? Sure. But remember, those teams also went through multiple years of suck getting to the point where in the 2013 draft they'd have multiple picks to make their teams better.
The top 2 at each of QB, WR, RB, CB, TE in the 2013 class are not as good as the same from 2012.. and not at all as good as the NFL leaders at that position. Safety and OL and DL are so deep that the teams with multiple picks can afford to see who's available at their desired position -- because the dropoff between the guy who's available at 6 and the guy who will be available at [insert team here]'s first round pick is miniscule.
Janoris Jenkins, who went in the second round last year, is a better player than Xavier Rhodes. I would not trade back from 6 if CB is the desired position.. Milliner is at his best not as good as Gilmore, the second CB off the board last year.
I don't think we will trade back because the 2013 draft doesn't have a superstar who will be available at 6 and clearly excel in the league.

Steinbach RetiresWhat does everyone think of us releasing him now? I liked the guy but understand at some point tough decisions have to be made.
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/g-steinbach-retires-comeback-try-195613728--nfl.html
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Guard Eric Steinbach has decided to retire after sitting out all of last season because of a back injury.
Steinbach, 32, signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins in July but missed considerable practice time during training camp because of health issues. Coach Joe Philbin announced Steinbach's retirement decision following practice Wednesday.
Steinbach missed only three games in his first eight NFL seasons with Cincinnati and Cleveland. He was the Big Ten offensive lineman of the year with Iowa in 2002 and was drafted in the second round by the Bengals in 2003.

On Record Draft SelectionThere are many possible ways for us to go in the first. I wouldnt be suprised if we went with one of the Stanford lineman at #22 but looking at the browns based on need this would be my ideal draft:
1.04 - Trent Richardson (RB-Alabama)
1.22 - Stephen Hill (WR-Georgia Tech)
2.05 - Bobby Massie (OT-Ole Miss)
3.04 - Zach Brown (LB-North Carolina)
4.05 - Kirk Cousins (QB-Michigan St.)
-
Browns Waive 16 PlayersThere were no real big suprises that we cut this year. So now that we made our final cut who we gonna pick up off the wire? Im licking my chops at some of the releases:
New England
Brandon Meriiweather, S
Brandon Tate, WR
Denver
Parrish Cox, CB

Nate ClementsClements was overpriced and not a spring chicken anymore. Its ok to let some of them go. I can already tell we are not goin to the playoffs this year. We are building for the future that like in the past may never come. Welll cheers to another year of being the losers of the AFC North.

Cleveland Browns Are Talking With Teams About Trading Draft PositionsGreat trade!!!! Great Compensation, we are not a player or two away so this helps alot. Now we can go and get our DE and WR, and OT in the first two rounds!

My ex is a whoreJust remember there are plenty of fish in the sea. And there is probably some girl that just caught her ex doing the same thing so go find her and bang the back end out .

The Official Nfl Cba/lockout ThreadI hope this nudges the owners to come to an agreement. I am on the side of the owners on this one though. If you or me went to the boss and demanded a raise we would be laughed or fired. The players are trying to make as much as the owners and that just doesnt make sense. No worker makes anywhere near what the owners make. Its just how things work.

Your Personal 3 Round Mock DraftI see Von Miller starting at OLB but will also could be used as a de situation rusher. Just because we are switching to the 4-3 doesn't mean we wont have some form of the 3-4 at times such as the raiders.
-
Your Personal 3 Round Mock DraftThe Browns once again have many leaks in the ship that need fixing. Here is my 3 rnd draft that will help fix a leaky ship:
RD 1 Von Miller DE Texas A & M
RD 2 Titus Young WR Boise St.
RD 3 Steven Paea DT Oregon St.
-
bleacher reportill pass on this draft hoss, dont know if they got the memo but we are switching to the 4-3 which requires a few more dlineman. Lets drop the later picks of wr and rb and fill them in with de and lb.

Goodbye Elam, Trusnik, et alJust because Mangini is gone doesnt mean some of the players he had relationships will be fired. Mangini did a great job improving our team with talented players. He did alot of housecleaning and got rid of some cancers such as Edwards. No player is above the team.

Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha's Contract is VoidAsomugha is an option to look at in the offseason. Seeing that we just drafted a great cb and we have Sheldon Brown on decent amount I dont know if we will make a overpaid corner a priority. I would much rather us spend the money on a solid RT, DE, LB.
