Average is a pretty good description.   He's better than most of the crap we've trotted out in the last 20 years though so I'm cool with it for now.

From PFT:

The Eagles cut linebacker Alex Hall on Wednesday morning, a surprising move this early in training camp considering he was part of the Sheldon Brown trade to Cleveland.

The Eagles gave up Brown and linebacker Chris Gocong for Hall plus picks in the fourth and fifth round. Hall got folks excited in Cleveland with his pass rushing ability as a rookie, but quickly fell out of favor with Eric Mangini.

It took even less time for the Eagles to decide they had no use for him.

I agree with Inspecta. Quinn gets moved and we regret it for a LONG TIME.

On that same token, if he stays here, I bet he ammounts to little.

Such is life in Cleveland Sports.

I liked the exotic (for us) blitz packages late in the game.

Three INT's for Anderson now. LOL.

Yeah, and he's gonna stay in REAL long if he continues to play like that.

Smells like a Ravens fan pretending to be a Browns fan

Actually Brees had two pretty bad years before his first good year.

Unless you consider 3200 yards, 17TD and 16INT a good year of course.

8-8

Easier schedule and better coaching = more wins.

PFT reporting that the Lions have cut Shaun Smith.

"something huge" eh? link? proof? anything of substance?

Topic says per the OBR, which is probably insider online info = you have to subscribe to see it.

The suspense is killing me...

Perhaps they're ending the JaMarcus Russell experiment? Who knows...

Something huge may end up being something tiny. Not EVERYTHING revolves around the QB's

Do you think we keep 2 of those 3 cut WR's on the practice squad?

I'll be there, on a laptop while watching the dress rehearsal.

Weren't they giving Steinbach some tackle reps? I would think he'd move over to RT and Fraley or Womack would play at LG.

I think if Cribbs continues to emerge in this new WR role into the first 1/3 of the season, then yes, he deserves a new contract based upon his status as a starting WR.

If he becomes the invisible man at WR then he can keep playing with his current deal.

While the DL and Rubin are improved, I still see a very weak pass rush. Thats sans Rogers of course so who knows what it will look like with him in there.

I think we'll see the most from Davis. MoMass I don't see starting, but I do see him getting plenty of playing time spelling Josh Cribbs who seems to have locked up the #2 WR spot.

No, we won't be the worst team in football, but look for the RAMS to finish at or aboe .500 this year.

Oh yeah, get out
