Survey Monday, Post Super BowlOK, a lot of these questions come up because of points made in other threads.
1. When were you born? This is not meant to be rude but to be a reference point for the next question:
1971
2. What is the first NFL championship or SB game you can remember?
Dallas Pittsburgh 79
3. I posted the Vegas odds for the 2011 SB. Who do you think will win the next Super Bowl?
wish it was browns. jets maybe
4. They apparently put Christina Aguilera on to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl because she is a native of Pittsburgh who was in the SB. If the Browns were to make the Super Bowl, what Northeast Ohio native would you like to see sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl?
someone who knows the words
5. Insert a survey question here that YOU would like to see answered:
[/qu who are the browns best options via draft or free agency at wide reciever?

Hey Johnny come lately whatever makes you feel better when your head hits the pillow at night. The loss absolutely sucks but we still reached the Super Bowl in a year a lot of people didn't think we would. The Steelers still had a chance to win with 2 minutes left in the game and they just didn't get it done. The Packers played a good game and you on here with the other mouth breathers celebrating is pretty pathetic if I'm being honest. You know it's bad when you have a contingent of your own calling out fellow Browns fans for a constant stream of idiocy. And isn't the place a "Steeler Hatred forum" I just now realized it's also about the Cleveland Browns lol. Sad, sad group of individuals.it really is pathetic that you are even here. THAT is what is pathetic!

This years SuperbowlSlash could have done us all a favor by lighting his guitar on fire and beating the shit out of all of them and then strangle Christina Aguilera with one of the guitar strings. All of the "entertainment" that didn't have anything to do with football this year absolutely sucked!

I for one hope we Re-Sign Eric Wrightkeep him. if the ball blows off the tee on a windy day he could hold it for the kicker.
-
Eric Wright sucksHow do you not replace Wright with Haden today??? What could have been worst than getting beaten on every play? You can't get much worst than not contesting TD passes in a close game. That was the worst CB play I may have ever seen.
Totally agree. It looked like he didn't even try on two of them but the first one he didn't even give himself a chance with his positioning.
-
Peyton Hillis Day ....Hillis kicked ass today!Hope we see more of this.
-
Eric Wright sucksThank God for not letting Brandon McDonald replace Wright!
-
Eric Wright sucksThe defense was good enough to win today with the exception of Wright. The Gatorade cooler could have played better. He should have been replaced or been getting some help because he was getting killed. This isn't new it's been happening for four years.

Jake in BOOTI honestly can't remember the last time a Cleveland Browns QB started a full season. Was it Garcia? Dilfer? Couch?
Tim couch in 2001.Bernie Kosar in 1991.Found it on wikipedia so that might not be accurate.

Uh Oh.The Chiefs look good, hopefully we play better.

Thank you BrownsLook everyone, I can still be a Browns fan and say, "great and funny video". Of course I wish we were the one's singing it but, well, we can't. And as our cheerleader thread indicates (if you look at the various pictures) the Tampa girls are amongst the best in the NFL.
Good luck, Tampa Fans, but now that the game is over and you've rubbed in the salt, please get off our boards.
It wasn't great or funny-just gay.Especially high pitched eric singing the song.
-
Thank you BrownsGreat- Lady Dumbass made another song.
-
Thank you BrownsWe welcomed you into our House and gave you a/c fans to keep you cool in the horrible heat.
We have made a video for your viewing:
Sit back and enjoy!!!
I can't wait to hear the "We're 1 and 15" song.
-
Was anyone else thinking this?Yeah, only difference is that our team actually improved. You guys just thought you did.
i get the bucky part looking at your teeth but your arms are tiny and you look like an idiot with the red rag on your head

The REAL problem with the Browns, and how to fix it.Oh boy, here we go! First game of the season, and already we're calling for the coaches head, and calling for the back up QB!
Look, we need continuity! We can't just fire a coach after a few seasons, and rebuild again! Hey, I realize Randy may not be football savy, and it's unfortunate, because he pretty much was thrown into this thing when his dad passed away! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, had Al not passed away, I don't think we would be seeing the issues that we've been seeing! However; Al did pass away, Randy DID inherit the team, and he was still getting his feet wet in learning how to run an NFL team! So, let's look at it this way. He has pockets. DEEP POCKETS! He has proven time and again, that he will spend the money to fix past mistakes! He brought in two credible and knowledeable football people in Mike Holmgren, and Tom Heckert. Furthermore; we cannot keep calling for the coaches head EVERY few years, or bitching about putting in the back up QB! Why do teams like the Steelers and Pats continue win? CONTINUITY!!!! The Steelers in the past 40 years have had 3 (count 'em) coaches... Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher, and Mike Tomlin! We've had how many since 1970??? Hell, we've changed coaches 4 times since 1999!!!! Rome wasn't built in one day! We have to let this current regime get settled in and let them build it the right way! I do NOT want to keep going through this BS where by Nov, the starting QB is benched in favor of the back up. Nor do I want to see at the end of the season the coach fired. I mean, really I'm tired of this "Ground Hogs" day scenario! We are very fortunate to have a guy like Holmgren in our front office. And I feel we are very fortunate to have a no nonsense coach like Mangini. Let's not screw this up, and make it so that nobody wants to come here!!!
Remember, we could still have that cheapskate Art Modell! Keep your head up Browns fans! We'll get there! No doubt this loss hurts, and it's a game we should have won, but it's only week one! Let's dust ourselves off, and get ready for the Chiefs! And while the Steelers won, remember they were at home, and regardless of who their QB is, they are tough to beat at Heinz Field, no matter who you are! But the Bengals lost, and everyone was hyping them to beat NE, and they got their asses handed to them! If the Ravens lose tonight, 3 out of the 4 teams in our division will be 0-1.
i understand what you mean about continuity but the only continuity i'm seeing is bad coaching, bad play calling, bad clock management and more bad coaching.i don't like constantly changing qbs like last year but yesterday jds foot injury was affecting his play.it would have been good to see more of the seneca wallace josh cribbs combo more than just once, maybe it would have made a difference.i'm not sying to bench jd but he wasn't effective playing hurt.as far as "it's only the first game"-yes it is-but we need to beat teams like tampa bay if we're going to be successful.our division is way to tough to give games like that away.also it's not just one game it's been seventeen games of the same bad coaching.
