Where'd the extra TO come from for the Lions? and I thought if you went out with an injury, you had to sit out at least one play, so why was Stafford back in?
From the NFL Rules:
"However, a fourth time out is allowed without penalty for an injured player, who must be removed immediately. "
Stafford was allowed back in after we called a timeout.

Going for it on 4th and 2 was the correct mathematical call and its actually not even close. The playcalling leading up to that decisions however, was suboptimal.

The talking heads (yes this includes Dungy) who are claiming he should have "went with the odds and punted" and have no xxxxing idea what the odds even are.

It's the correct play, its not about trust, its not about confidence, its MATH. I am glad our coach is actually making mathematically correct decisions.

Our offense (lack of) today was due to basic mistakes and miscommunication.
Mack was snapping high the entire 1st quarter.
We dropped countless passes.
Braylon definitely ran the wrong route on that INT, whether it was BQ or BE screw up, its still a miscommunication we can't have, and we had a ton of them.
The good news is, these problems are things that can be fixed.
Also, our defense was playing great for most of the game. OUR OFFENSE HAS TO STAY ON THE FIELD LONGER.
Your defense is only as good as your time of possession.

Eli scored 11 points higher than Peyton. Quinn scored 6 points higher than Anderson.
How you can use this information to definitively say that Quinn is smarter than Anderson is beyond me.
One day he took a human resources test and he scored higher than Anderson on the same test. That's what we know. We also know that one day Eli took said test and scored much higher than Peyton.
Conclusion: It's a human resources test. Scouts find it helpful. To use the reported scores as the end-all of a QB's football intelligence, and therefore his definitive prognosis for success n the NFL ... is phucking absurd.

Because the questions on this test are easy as hell...and the fact that you have to take this test is public knowledge. You can look it up and learn the format...scoring that low is ridiculous.
