So, they went for a Cinci look?

how is it a Cincy look? It's modeled after some of our historic uniforms, Its the other way around Cincy copied our shit when Paul Brown formed that team.

I won't comment on  Browns season tickets.  But the opener against the Titans is going to cost you plenty. I seriously question how StubHub is managing to offer tickets to that game by "instant download " considering as a season ticket holder I don't even have the tickets showing up in the master account yet. Couldn't even transfer them if I wanted to.

My entire season is already in my account and I have sold 3 of my extras already.

Not going to the game but GNATS Tailgaters will be set up at the Tailgating Hall of Fame campout at Cutty's Camp Ground. Party Friday Night. We will be set up there Friday to Sunday. Tailgate setups from several different NFL Teams.

man that would have been fun

It was and tailgating for the first time in over a year was exhilarating.

Because the Steelers of that era owned the Browns, and that's all the guys who were fans of those teams have.

One cheap hit that should have gotten him thrown out of the NFL.

in those days it's just a 15 yrd penalty for which he got.

Just a bit of history on  undefeated seasons:

Pre 1932:/playoffs:

Team	Wins	Losses	Ties	Other
1920 Akron Pros season	8	0	3	1 game canceled
1922 Canton Bulldogs season	10	0	2	-
1923 Canton Bulldogs season	11	0	1	-
1929 Green Bay Packers season	12	0	1	-

Post 1932:

Team	Wins	Losses	Playoff results	Final result
1934 Chicago Bears season	13	0	Lost NFL Championship Game against New York Giants	13–1
1942 Chicago Bears season	11	0	Lost NFL Championship Game against Washington Redskins	11–1
1972 Miami Dolphins season	14	0	Won three playoff games including Super Bowl VII against Washington Redskins	17–0
2007 New England Patriots season	16	0	Won two playoff games before losing in Super Bowl XLII against New York Giants	18–1

1948 Cleveland Browns[edit]

The Browns were a member of the All-America Football Conference, a professional football league that played from 1946 to 1949. In 1948, the Browns won all fourteen regular season games and the 1948 AAFC championship to post a 15–0–0 record. Cleveland's perfect 1948 season was part of a longer string of 29 straight wins, which stretched from 1947 to 1949 and included both the 1947 and 1948 title games. Overall, the Browns won all four AAFC championship games and were accepted into the NFL when the two leagues merged after the 1949 season.

do a history of winless seasons, Steelers had one before we did.

Only can happen if the NFL scraps their "one shell rule", allowing for teams to use an alternate helmet again. It might happen.

Wasn't aware of this one shell rule. I imagine if they wanted to do it, the plan would have been put in motion months or even years ago thus giving them plenty of time to pull it off if allowed.

Maybe an exact replica of the 1946 uniform, complete with white helmet and a face mask of course. Before anybody says don't mess with the helmet, its a one off celebration of 75 years of existence and would probably never be used again until 100 years of existence.

Almost forgot, actually did forget. We have this guy coming off IR for next season. We may already have Vernon's replacement.

Resign Vernon, Acquire JJ and there you have a nice rotation at RE. Our pass rush was non existent without Vernon and JJ is still far better than anything we have behind Vernon.

well, my early secret pick didn't stay a secret.

Football question:

If you were deciding for the Browns - and you could choose between Owusu-Kamorah or Collins...what would be the deciding factors?

Collins highlight reel on youtube looks great.

@calfoxwc said:

so.....

last game, squealers -

Ward is out. Sendejo and Joseph are out? Malcome Smith, Taki Taki's backup is out. Taki has an ankle injury, may not be able to play....Phillips and Goodson are out ?

Well, I think the Browns will win anyways - they got their wr's back. If Wills and Teller are back...we're still in the game winning chance.

Joseph will be back on Friday
