Having posted that, over Thanksgiving, I ended up talking to our friends friend from Germany.
She explained that Germany is different - for instance, all 7th graders have to go learn about the Holocaust. See the pictures.
Know the history, to NEVER repeat anything like it.
But Columbus was a hero, the Civil War was about state's rights, and we have no history of systemic racism...

I can't speak for Cal but I've never assumed you are a holocaust denier. I do not like the Democrats new anti-israel position but that's kind of a different thing. On the other hand I have never heard you apologize for your constant accusations of racism white supremacy blah blah blah blah blah.
And just for the record American Jews and Israelis are among the best educated hardest-working brightest and most successful people in the world and while they remember the Holocaust it doesn't seem that they use it as an excuse to underperform on the world stage.
