Beiber leaves in the bottom of the 5th.  A dropped fly tied it at 1-1.

Big hopes for the Cy Young winner for 2022.

[mjp28]

C Austin Henges made two fantastic throws in the 7th.....what a GUN  ! !

Still tied 1-1.

[mjp28]

TRIBE down 3-1 and down to their last strike.....and they get a hit !

Now 2 on down to the last strike again.....and called out.  Final KC 3-1.

You sure want to win Game 1   -but-   there are plenty more games,  OFF Friday and Saturday 2:10 pm.

I've been a Cleveland INDIANS fan since the 1950s through good bad good and bad times so I'm not going to quit watching baseball now.

Friday April 15, 2022 the HOME Opener Versus SF at 7:10 EDST, ta-da !   Exciting,  huh.

.                 ~~~~~  ~~~~~

[mjp28]

It's VERY early in the season but I never really recall this many Cleveland players on top of the batting stat list.  I know check back in a few weeks.

Game 7 - SF 2-0 top 7,  Rodón a 1 ht gem through 6 innings. Miller has the only TRIBE hit.

...... SF 2-1 to the top of the 8th.  Finally got an RBI off of Rodón.

...... SF4-1 final.  Jose Ramirez gets hit #1,000 in the bottom of the 9thl

[mjp28]

Game 8 - bottom 6 tied 2-2.

Straw leads off game with a hustle triple, leads league in triples, J Ramirez drives him in....leads in everything.

........ SF 4-2 bottom 8. Almost   got a great DP against  SF but didn’t.   Now end 8.

....... CLE in the bottom of the 9th, do or you know what time.   SF 4-2 final.    L2 W4 L2 = 4-4. Eh.

[mjp28]

Game 9 - CLE versus SF at 1:40 pm EDST.  Civale vs Wood.

........ Bobby Bradley muffs a DP ball SF scores 2 more.  SF 4-0 bottom 4.

........ SF 8-1 final. They have a pretty good team. So far the young Guardians have beaten KC and CIN not good teams.

It's going to be an " interesting " season for these young guns.
