    6) No one here is denying that Watson made some bad decisions

Wake me up when those bad decisions result in actual charges. We all went to college, some of us even to a state school.  To date, all that's happened consists of one word : Gossip. And it's weak gossip at that.

I recognize the gossip exists - but as to the truth of the matter asserted.. Put up or shut up. Everyone blathering on about morality is not updating that hypothesis to include the reality that the prosecution can't even find enough hearsay to convince people that there's a 51% chance the narrative is true..

Where's the morality in destroying someone's life for something he didn't do?

I agree with that 100%. If it's proved that anybody lied that would be worthy of jail time much worse than just being rude. As a matter of fact I don't think rudeness should be actionable by law. On the other hand if he got rough or physical with anybody in his insistence? That's a different story.

Unless you are being facetious I liked it just fine.

No idea how much Smith is being guaranteed and at what point during negotiations they could shitcan him if need be. If it were me, I'd prefer to go there than Carolina.

    Hell yeah!

  • Deebo is an ideal Watson weapon and addition to this offense. Think of the motion jet sweeps with the threat of Chubb or a Watson keeper.

Do they want Cooper and the rights to every pick we have left this year and next?

    AB can make it happen.

I think we would all take it…but we’ve handed out our cash and he comes with a large new contract.  We are looking at complementary pieces, draft gems or vets chasing rings…notwithstanding our pursuit of Clowney.

Cooper can't carry the WR corps.   This team is built to win now.  Bring him in for a year and see how he fits.  I'm guessing nice.

  • Speaking of gossip, I'm surprised I haven't seen this yet on the forums

Fun Conspiracy Theory on why no deal for Baker yet.

I think Charlie Weiss is spreading this gossip/gospel. He hates what we did and comments on it regularly.

This theory while believable just takes one crack…a team loses a starter, doesn’t get the guy they wanted in the draft and then a coach and GM on a potential hot seat figures losing a 2023 second round pick is nothing just staying afloat with Baker and a .500 record works as a stop gap and keeps jobs. Sounds like Carolina.

Heard to say anything's impossible. They are most certainly a bunch of weasels.
