    Game 158 - Sat Oct 01 -  KC (63-94) at CLE (★89-68)  at 6:10 pm.  

    ■~~>  ⚾  >~~>   Game  2 of  6,  just 5 more games left,  (89-68) .  They're  IN  baby.  Yes.    🙂 

    ....  KC  7-1  final.  A kind of strange game between the football games today.

    See you Sunday   at 1:40 pm   for Game 3 of 6.  Good evening everyone.    😁

    I read that Pluto story on FB, surprised it wasnt behind a paywall! - great story!

    Hope he recovers and is healthy strong for 2023 so he can get to 4000 games  and 50 years!

    I'd love that, but from the few articles I've read on Adams, I think his days as our faithful drummer are probably over.

    ....  CLE  7-2  top 5.  Two 3R HRs. Details later. Brennan 1sr HR and Naylor 20th HR.

    .... W.....  CLE  7-5  top 7.  Clase in, 2 outs, and... SV(41) for the Cy Young nominee.  Ks the last two.

    CLE  7 10 1   LOB 6  HR 2    KC 5 10 0 LOB 11  HR 0   Bieber W (13-8)  Last year of his contract $$$$.

    See you again for 160, 161 and 162.  That's  all Guardians fans before the playoffs  October 7th.

    Pic #1: Going into Progtessive Field via the Centerfield entrance

    Pic #2: The sign at the top of the LF bleachers, where John Adams sat. A bronze statue of his drum will be put there soon.

    Pic #3: I took this pic from our seats in the bleachers of the restaurant that has been at Jacobs/Progressive Field since it opened in 1994. With the new set of renovations starting when the season ends, it will be eventually removed. Thought I would get a photo of it before it is gone.

    ~ Monday evening. ~

    Game 160 of 162 -  KC in CLE  at 6:10 pm.  Lynch  versus  McKenzie. 

    ■~~~~>  ⚾  >~~~~>   Game  3 of 6 is  on now !     -GO GUARDIANS-  

    ....  1-1   2-2   right through  9.   Well I watched  the game to the end.  But no computer.  McKenzie was great but the Guardians could not get that key run tonight.  A little sloppy defense too.

    ....x....   KC  5-2  in 10.   A 3R HR in the top of the 10th sealed the deal.  CLE  (90-70)  two more left.

    See you all  Tuesday 6:10 and Wednesday 4:10  to finish the season.   Good night everyone.    😁

    I will be able to see the last two games  before checking into the hospital for Thursday and Friday  and hopefully home by Friday evening.   just tests.  No great TV in that place !  I always take a radio, my tablet  and my cell phone.    

    .....  edit add, if I see the next two games that will put me at  games watched/ listened to  160 - 2  missed.  Good year for it,  huh  !

    Game 161 -  KC in CLE.   Lynch  versus  Quantrill. 

    ■~~~~>  ⚾ >~~~~>   Game   5 of 6 is on now.  Go Guardians  !   Finish it our right.

    ....  CLE   5-1   bottom  6.   playing small ball  +  plus a 2R HR.   Nice job.   

    ....  CLE   5-1   top 9.   This is it, getting close to (91-70).   Important stuff in Cleveland baseball lore. 

    Another thing, this is a learning experience on closing games out.  Keep your mind in the game.  2 outs.    Clase  SV (42), more Cleveland baseball history.

    .... ◆.....   CLE   5-3   FINAL.  91-70  and one to go in this 2022 Guardians journey.

    Perhaps the most surprising Cleveland baseball regular season I've ever witnessed comes to a close this afternoon at 4pm... I have to admit, I didn't see this happening. I thought if the pitching stayed healthy and the offense could somehow be middle-of-the-pack that they could stay in it, but to run away with the division title in what really was a rebuilding year? 

    No way.

    Game 162 - It's finally here the last game of a fantastic year.   Your thoughts are welcome. ♥︎

    I had a doctor's appointment today,  normally home at 3:30 didn't get home until 5:30 already  CLE  5-1  through  3.

    ....  CLE  8-2  top 8.  Looking so good,  KC has surrendered,  time to finish it out in style.  12,923 and about  1.2 million for the year.  A very interesting and rain filled season.  

    ....  CLE. 9-2  final.   92-70,  let the playoffs begin.

    I may have uttered a few adult words and/or phrases when JRam struck out and Naylor grounded into a double play to wipe out bases loaded, no one out, bottom of the 6th rally.
