To begin with I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices the fact that you are the guy that whine the most about the uncivil dialog on this particular board and you are almost always the or 1 of the worst offenders.
That being said yes sometimes they overreact nobody here supports the police officers actions in this case.

And the ANTIFA/BLM riots were “mostly peaceful protests” that killed 25 people including police officers.

You have to understand that there are many who make their living on promoting perpetual racism. Once people understand that things will become clear.
I would also say that racism in and of itself is pretty natural and isn't a problem. Bigotry is the problem.

The Memphis Police Chief, Cerelyn Davis, got fired previously from Atlanta PD for covering up child porn crimes committed by a fellow Atlanta PD sergeant's husband. Then Memphis decides she would do good things as Police Chief? Affirmative blacktion doesn't work.
Cerelyn Davis also created the ultra-violent Memphis PD Scorpion unit that beat Tyre Nichols to death.
BLM must be so frustrated. The 5 cops were black, the Police Chief is black, no whiteys to blame.
