It's driven by the fact that police don't like bad guys and sometimes they overreact.
You're an absolute moron
But "sometimes they overreact" isn't a surprising take from the guy that immediately started calling Jan 6th a protest that got a little rowdy...
You live in your own reality. Unfortunately it is the delusional, sheltered reality that a large chunk of this country lives in too

To begin with I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices the fact that you are the guy that whine the most about the uncivil dialog on this particular board and you are almost always the or 1 of the worst offenders.
That being said yes sometimes they overreact nobody here supports the police officers actions in this case.

Comon Woody, you were wishing that the officers were white. Then they could tack on 'hate crime' charges, and probably upgrade the murder charge.

No doubt. He assumed the cops were white.
The video was age restricted so he didn't view it before posting. lol

And the ANTIFA/BLM riots were “mostly peaceful protests” that killed 25 people including police officers.
Talk about living in your own fucked up reality.

does Memphis have a city council / Mayor interested in qualified police?
- The department showed signs of struggle with recruiting new police officers, offering $15,000 signing bonuses in 2021 and 2022, Fox 13 reported.
- As of Jan. 2022, MPD was down roughly 500 officers, the news outlet reported, citing the Memphis Police Association.
- Last year, the department lowered its standards again for new recruits, nixing the timed physical ability test and cutting college education requirements from 54 credit hours to just 24.

No doubt the race of the officers is posing a problem for BLM front office deciding which city to burn down.

You have to understand that there are many who make their living on promoting perpetual racism. Once people understand that things will become clear.
I would also say that racism in and of itself is pretty natural and isn't a problem. Bigotry is the problem.

Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton make a living at it using racism like a credit card...

The Memphis Police Chief, Cerelyn Davis, got fired previously from Atlanta PD for covering up child porn crimes committed by a fellow Atlanta PD sergeant's husband. Then Memphis decides she would do good things as Police Chief? Affirmative blacktion doesn't work.
Cerelyn Davis also created the ultra-violent Memphis PD Scorpion unit that beat Tyre Nichols to death.
BLM must be so frustrated. The 5 cops were black, the Police Chief is black, no whiteys to blame.

again this is why you are all dumb fucks It is all invented butt if you want to buy into it then so be it

I'm not so sure about that, somebody can always find blame to affix to the white man.

An MPD spokesman confirmed the department relieved Officer Preston Hemphill of duty in a Monday statement to Fox News Digital. The 26-year-old officer joined the force in 2018 and allegedly used his taser on Nichols prior to the beating by five other officers.
Preston, who is white, has not yet been charged with a crime in connection to the incident. Memphis police say he is the subject of an ongoing investigation, however.
The five other officers, who are black, include Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Desmond Mills Jr., Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith. They were each terminated on Jan. 18 and are facing seven counts: second-degree murder; aggravated assault, act in concert; two counts of aggravated kidnapping; two counts of official misconduct; and official oppression.
