Get Bally Sports Great Lakes on FuboTV (free trial)

Cord cutters in the Cleveland market can stream Bally Sports Great Lakes on either FuboTV or DirecTV Stream. FuboTV is the cheaper option ($89 vs. $100 a month) and comes with a 7-day free trial. *NOTE: Guardians games aren’t available on the network’s standalone streaming service Bally Sports+.

★ Bally Sports Great Lakes is scheduled to air 155 regular season games in 2023 starting with the season opener in Seattle against the Mariners on March 30.   ★★ But looming over the situation is the financial state of Diamond Sports Group, which operates the 19 Bally Sports-branded regional sports networks across the country. The company is expected to  ★★ file bankruptcy after missing a $140 million interest payment last week.

★ MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, however, has said the league is prepared to take over streaming rights, if necessary, to make sure local viewers can still watch their teams should Diamond isn’t able to fulfill its contractual obligations.

The   "long overdue big ass bases"   that should cut down on some occasionally serious injuries.  It should also really pick up the SB numbers on close calls.  Teams like CLE will really do well with them too.

I've read that the game times have dropped by a half hour on average.

It's funny that most of the people complaining about the pitch clock are people who thinks baseball was the best back in the day when 2 hour games were the norm.

Who was it Buerle versus Westbrook when the games were always UNDER  2 hours, some 1:50 +/-.  NO horsing around get ball --> throw ball.

Then the games got too cute playing around with extra signs, shifts, unnecessary throws to first, in/out of the box games, etc, etc....  The games ballooned to 3+ pushing 4 hour yawn fests.  Too bad ..... well you know  PLAY BALL  dammit !

I love baseball, and watch as many Guardians games as possible, along with random ESPN games and the occasional Akron Rubberducks game down the road.

But 3+ hour games get ponderous, especially when there are 162 of them. I'm all for speeding up the game pace.
