Meaningless second half preseason. Game and Trey Sermon is playing? If he’s available in a couple weeks we need to pick him up

we'll be lucky to get Debate to PS.. solid UTFA grab

I see some really good instincts from him. Against all odds, this might have been the best off season we've had a real long time.  It's kind of nice to be pleasantly surprised for a change - isn't it?

I haven’t been crazy about our LBs the last few years he definitely could turn it around

Indeed!  It's not like he'd be competing with a Lawrence Taylor or Wilber Marshall for reps if he played his way into Schwartz's plans.

I welcome the only Defensive Coordinator to earn a Superbowl Ring in New Orleans while understanding Revenge of the Nerds is a sequel. "Come get some!"

I like a JOK and Diabate on third down packages…send one to the QB let the other one rove and destroy

Diabate had a 6th round grade. Like AJ Green, Diabate was the highest paid un-drafted rookie paid in this class of 300k to sign.. played solid defense at Utah. but never played any ST's at Utah..

he ain't said no to playing ST's here.. he's been playing kick & punt defender

I just can't see how they'd cut WR Watkins, while stashing Diabate? some close calls coming

Something's not right here.   Am I reading that York is kicking the ball through the uprights?  And Schwartz is catching the ball?

I just read that Schwartz has 2 catches, but 7 targets.  Whew!  That's a little more like it.

Per the bolded part above, why would keeping one be at the expense of the other?  I say that because Watkins is competing with the WRs on the roster while Diabate is competing with the LBers.  For one or both of them to make it - there's going to have to be a surprise cut or 2 within those position groups.  Furthermore, both of those position groups needed to be upgraded this last offseason and Watkins.  I think we're in agreement they're both catching our attention.  It's gonna be interesting to see how it all unfolds Gumbs...
