It's great to see Berea making decisions based on who's the best player rather than "we want 6 LB" etc.
S Hickman vs LB Fields vs LB Adams vs LB Diabate -- Much roster construction assumes an extra LB would be the take for ST.. but Hickman is big enough to do similar work in ST and is what you want at the back of the S group.
And Goodwin's injury has to give Grant the edge.. can't roster someone who will just be IR in 2 weeks.
As for WR Watkins.. He definitely won't get through the waiver wire so likely makes it.
QB Mond.. likely does the waiver wire dance all season because QB3 doesn't have to be on 53

1.) Players placed on injured reserve before the roster cut-down at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, he will be out for the season
2.) Players have to make the initial 53-man roster than go on IR to be eligible to return from the list during season.

WR Ant Schwartz is a easy release.. The roster questions really begin, when ya try to keyhole in-- Elliott- AJ Green-D'Anthony Bell- Hickman or Moe DiaBate into 2-3 spots..
Grant's loss may turn into Watkins or Darden's chance ? Grant Injury Update: WR Jakeem Grant Sr. out for season with ruptured patellar tendon.
Debate may fill Kunaszyk loss? But Berry rarely keeps 5-6 LB'ers.. Tony Fields is making this roster !

The Cleveland Browns are set to get some speed back on the field as they work through their final 53-man roster cutdowns. In his press availability today, head coach Kevin Stefanski told the media that deep threat wideout Marquise Goodwin is set to return, cleared from the non-football injury list.

Still of the (current) belief we carry 5 IDL. Tommy was playing well at the 3tech.

As poor as the DT play was last season..? A 5th DT is not out of the question with Schwartz wanting a fresh rotation..
Keeping 7 WR's & 7 LB'ers seems like a high number.. But we can't seem to keep many healthy either. Exposing them to the wavier wire with a chance of not returning.. A-Walk/Taki/ now Kuntz may miss time & we don't need that early in the schedule.
Denzel Ward is now out, may need a 6th corner added instead of projected 5.

Tommy Togiai is currently the 126th ranked DT out of 126 DT's. Jordan Elliot is 125th out of 126. (Per PFF) #Browns.......per PFF..... and most people's estimates. A toss up I would go with the most likely to stay on the field IF you can determine that. Personally I like Togiai as a slightly better player if the helps any.
