    - opposing more aid isn't the same as "getting the hell out of Ukraine". You got this wrong.

You made a post saying that America was gung ho to give every last nickel to ukraine. Not exactly but at least a lot more. I said they're not. I gave you a CNN article that said they weren't. And it wasn't from June or July.

I'm just saying people are getting sick of it. If you and the rest of the Biden cult members don't agree then sign right up.

No, that's not what you said. You said this

"And a majority of Americans want to get the fuck out of Ukraine as opposed to the guy you voted into office"

And no, that's not what I said in response

If you're just going to make shit up after your first post then why even make the first post? What you said in that first post is wrong. End of story. But I imagine you'll continue to dig your heels in and typical Steve some insult, some words in my mouth, some anything to try and take this off course...

No doubt public support for wasting money to protect those who launder your candidates money was stronger, thanks to the lies of the Democrat Party and the compromised left wing news media. As you keep reminding everyone things change. But feel free to send your own money. It's probably tax deductible in this era of bidenomics.

Patience is a rare commodity in the United States. Few people supported the war in Vietnam till the bloody end.

  • I guess it depends who they polled. Those numbers don't mean crap.

I'd believe the majority wouldn't give another dime either, especially if they were transparent about what the money was actually going to.

Strange to hear from people that were panicky about Trump having keys to the nukes or him starting wars yet they have no problem with senile Biden poking Russia.

    From a conservative think tank...

Preserves federalism.... "The system fairly represents the voters". But it doesn't. Many votes are worthless.

Encourages coalition building... "A president has to represent everyone". Again, he doesn't. A very red, rural state isn't going to get either candidate to care about it. Large cities are where people are. People vote. Not acres of land. And states / cities can have their own laws still.

The last three are all basically the same point. If some many votes don't matter then there's no need to cheat, or recount, etc. Of course, that didn't stop Trump from challenging everything. Or conservatives from calling every election fraudulent. So clearly, if conservatives think the current system is full of fraud they can't turn around and say the current system prevents fraud....

Actually typical would be you changing the subject and then bitching about somebody else not referring directly to the original topic.

Actually bitching is typical Woody. Regardless of what it's about.

Steve, you were wrong. That's it.

What you said in your original post was wrong, I provided a poll proving it wrong, and you provided a poll talking about something different that doesn't prove your original point correct.

I'm not sure why you aren't following along.

I mean, it's cuz you're typical Steve-ing the hell out of this, with a plan to continue to respond with nonsense, avoiding the point laid out above, until I eventually stop wasting my time and you can claim victory ... but still. Damn. Sad.

Last attempt here Steve, your first post didn't say "support is waning". It didn't say "people want to spend less on it". It didn't say any of that. It said "most Americans want to get the hell out". That's not true. You haven't provided any proof otherwise.

Are you following along at all yet? Or still just typical Steve-ing?

    Apology accepted

  • The same people who don't want to help the Ukraine, are often the same people who want billions of dollars to fund

free welfare for illegals (buying millions of votes in the near future)

  • “65% say they always or often feel exhausted when thinking about politics”

On the matter of the article in the OP, there’s an overload of information in political based media. And plenty of outrage porn. I sorta suspect that some of it leads to a sense of helplessness.

When you get right down to it, our role in the government, if we choose to participate in it, is to either participate by voting, joining it, or overthrowing it.

Overthrowing the government or running for office sounds like a lotta work, and l think it’s safe to say a lot of us aren’t doing that, but we still got voting. Which is cool, but we can only vote for certain people.

l’ve been hearing about John Fetterman lately. He’s a senator from Pennsylvania. I don’t live there and cannot vote for him. I have little use for information about John Fetterman.

But the media is full of these political figure villain types, most of whom l can’t vote for. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Hunter Biden’s laptop, etc.

I get the desire to “stay informed”, a reasoning l’ve heard before for keeping up on politics, but for me l have to filter that information based on who or what l can vote for, and l’m happy to have a peripheral awareness of the rest.
