He looks shell shocked and very nervous out there... Not what I expect from a team leader

You didn't expect a day 3 rookie, making his first NFL road start, to look wide-eyed at any point?

You are a fucking scholar of the game.

And still the coaching staff fields him. I guess they are scholars too!

  • Nice catch and run Ford!

There is no better option right now.  Which is why Flacco is on the sideline picking PJ's brain.  They showed him asking what the calls were and PJ talking about routes.   Until there's a lot more homework done, Flacco also won't be ready for the test.  Vet or not.

And Ceddy finally showing what I said he was capable.  Thanks CT3.

  • Celebrating a first down during a two minute drill while you're down 11 points. kek.

Sanchez "They need to hurry up and call a play"

                   "oh, it's 3rd down"

I see that in-game processing and situational awareness is still garbage. Eh, Mark?

Its kind of amazing that he had a year or two where people were really high on him, isn't it?

There was? I don't remember that at all.   I remember Shonn Green and LT plus a loaded secondary carrying his corpse through the regular season until they ran into the Colts a couple times.

  • Can't say I've ever seen two offensive guys fight each other on a fade pattern.

Yeah, fairly early on he was actually getting decent reviews, as in "he's still raw but remember he had minimal college experience so he's got upside" reviews.

    Then, he was not.

  • Tillman's route had to be goalline pylon.. wrong route to Moore.. 14 - 6

  • 1 score game, who cares.

    fuck the broncos

This game is my personal litmus test. Right now I'm just on the edge of believing that this team can not only make the playoffs, but can actually have as good a chance of any as winning throughout it.

A win, in Denver, with how they are currently playing, against all of the ghosts and with all of our injuries and fill in players and I'm fully in, hook, line and sinker.

Ready to spit out that hook yet D Bone???

Not quite yet Ag, as I've seen this team play in the 2nd half!

I'm not disagreeing, but DTR has had two statistically terrible games, and he has actually manged to regress in his third outing.

They better be getting Flacco ready, or the season is over!

Only so much the surrounding cast can do to drag your ass to the mountain top.

  • I really like Eds in these pre-mid-post game shows.   He's actually pretty funny and doesn't sugar coat things.   But I've also met him and he was a mega douche.   So... I'm conflicted.

  • Have to live with the good and bad with DTR. That 3rd down was an excellent example of youth and poor decision making. Obviously one of our guys ran the wrong route, but Cooper was open in the slot and it's probably a TD, or 4th and goal from inches away. Instead, DTR throws the lowest percentage pass in the NFL's red zone. Just a terrible read, but he'll learn.

Now, Stefanski could've told him where to go, we don't know that, but I doubt it. I thought we could have tried to run it on 2nd or qb draw it with 2 TOs. DTR has done some decent things, and really it's his defense that let him down so far. But you can't win every game 13-10. There will be times you need to score 24+. I told my buddy we'd win if we scored over 27. I really felt our defense would get burnt against Russ.

I'm still really disappointed in our execution on both sides of the ball. The penalties, dropping snaps, dropping the ball, and whatever else aren't going to win road games. We're extremely susceptible to read-option runs, and that won't stop until our DEs maintain their responsibilities.

Can we win? Of course, but it's got a bad vibe to it. We forced a miracle fumble on one drive and also got a miracle offensive PI or else we're in deep kimche. I think we win if we get a special teams or defensive touchdown. It's going to take something like that to get us over the hump.

On the plus side, DTR looks fine. Not perfect, but definitely not an abomination. Scoring in the red zone is always the final learning curve for young QBs. Hopefully he grows up fast because FG's will not win it today.

  • looking forward to seeing DTR in the second half. he had some nice throws down field and I bet he improves on that in  the 2nd half

  • finish what we looked like in quarter 2... Let's go Defense !

  • Hopium!

Lowest percentage pass, but also the safest in terms of turnover. So could be worse
