Man do I like Nick Chubb and not just the dude under the orange clothing, but the man himself.
As a 56yr old who has had many injuries and subsequent surgeries in my younger years as a motocross racer and now lives with the consequences on a daily basis, I hope the current Nick thinks a lot more about the future Nick because he is going to pay for it, like it or not.
While I selfishly want to see him back on the field, I really hope he has someone in his corner preaching about the big picture and what really matters in this life and football ain't it.

A batman sighting - Nick Chubb on the practice field Tuesday

Cleveland is just 96 short days away from kicking off the 2024 season with the Dallas Cowboys in Week One on September 8th.

Good Luck, Nick Chubb !

- Browns UDFA TE Treyton Welch excited for opportunities in Cleveland, learning from David Njoku (Barry Shuck) - Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry decided not to select a tight end in the 2024 NFL Draft, opting instead to sign Treyton Welch as an undrafted free agent.
- Nick Chubb’s workout videos are promising (Thomas Moore) - The Cleveland Browns have several questions heading into the upcoming season, and one of the biggest ones is when running back Nick Chubb will be able to return to the field as he continues to recover from two surgeries to repair his knee.
- Proposed 3 team trade is pointless for the Browns (Jared Mueller) - Trading Amari Cooper and getting back another OT while Davante Adams heads elsewhere is silly for Cleveland.
- NFL ‘Sunday Ticket’ lawsuit could derail Browns plans (Jared Mueller) - Since Andrew Berry took over as general manager of the Cleveland Browns in 2020, the salary cap has jumped from $198.2 million to $255.4 million despite a small downturn due to the COVID pandemic. But a class action lawsuit against the NFL’s “Sunday Ticket” threatens that revenue.
- Browns 2023 Season Rewind: Pierre Strong’s 41-yard screen play against Seattle (Matt Wilson) - In this installment of the Cleveland Browns 2023 Season Rewind, we’re going to break down Pierre Strongs’s long gain on a screen pass against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8.

DBN: With the high amount of success you had in high school as a pass catcher, then at Wyoming the run game was prevalent and you weren’t getting the ball, why didn’t you consider entering the portal and going to a program that would use your pass-catching abilities?
Welch: That was given some thought, but when I signed my name with Wyoming and their coaches, I made a promise to play for their school, which became my school. I could not go back on that agreement. I was not getting the catches I wanted, but that is what I signed up for. They took me on and gave me an education, and asked that I play for them for four years and I had to stick to that.
DBN: You are a high-character guy. Why is that important?
Welch: You have to do what you say you are doing to do, and commit your time and resources to the task at hand. I want to be the person off the field that everyone knows what I am capable of, and will do what’s right to my abilities. We are on this earth to do good things and fill needs in life. God wants us to be good people.

.....it would be nice to see the guy that wears the white hat succeed once in a while.

A real bad injury. Multiple surgeries for it. Give him all the time he needs. If we could have him for a playoff push, that'd be great.

And to add, the recover and rehab take about a year but the operations didn't happen until Oct and again in Nov. The recover and rehab doesn't start with the injury. It starts after the operation. You don't sustain an injury like that and get operated on the next day.
