I haven't watched any news since I saw this as it happened. I'm the only one on here saying I don't think it was staged or a hit by the other side, just a nut with a gun. Yet I'm the asshole. You know that door swings both ways, right. trump has yet to concede the last election. He been attacking democracy since 2020. Yes, we are not a democracy, we are a democratic republic.
That's a fair statement, but you guys have been calling the same arguments "whataboutism" or "victim blaming" for the last 8 years. So, I don't really have an ounce of sympathy for you.
The angle here is clear and you can disagree all you want. They're downplaying her previous experience while simultaneously blaming her for this for pretty obvious reasons.
You seem to be forgetting that this unacceptable security failure is ultimately her responsibility and she deserves the blame that is currently coming her way. What's between her legs is irrelevant. The director of Secret Service needs to be held accountable.
We have the sitting president calling his challenger a dictator and a threat to democracy two weeks leading up to an assassination attempt. You have Elon Musk cracking a joke about the Secret Service director. And you're trying to equate the two. This is a retarded take.

Axe posted at 11pm and my reply was immediately thereafter. At that point I had been watching the CNN coverage and the replays of the assassination attempt for 2 hours. They never once refrained from calling that an assassination attempt.
As I said, they had no choice after everyone else was reporting honestly.

Another thing that makes no sense. The shooter was 148 yards from the Podium, a clear view. People saw him climbing the building with a rifle. They yelled at the police. Why did this guy get so close? Why didn't the Secret Service see this guy? Why didn't the police stop the guy? These are legitimate questions that are being asked by all networks and personnel on the ground..
Precisely! That's why CNN didn't need to race a story before all info was received; because Mark Rubio was having a public panic attack on Next Generation Twitter at 6:53 pm. The shootings were at 6:15 pm last evening. They covered it all showing replays where viewers could hear the gun shots and see the secret service racing to cover Trump.

Sure, she's ultimately responsible, even if she directly didn't have anything to do with it. But there's a specific angle with these attacks. An angle we've been seeing from the MAGA folks whenever it suits them. That angle is pretty obvious.
