Jax doing what he can to spin it that the evil Democrats did it, diehard saying I'm a conspiricy theorist, I've even seen someone on the internet say this kid was an FBI informant and the FBI did the hit. This was just a nutter with a gun, not a staged hit by trump, not a hit by the Democrats or Joe Biden. Just a nutter that couldn't hit the broad side of an orange barn with a red roof. I know thats hard for some people to accept

You don't really need to hire a hitman when the media is 24/7 pushing the Democrat propaganda that Trump is Hitler. Some nutcase will eventually be convinced that it his moral imperative to do the job for you. These are all from the last two weeks.

I haven't watched any news since I saw this as it happened. I'm the only one on here saying I don't think it was staged or a hit by the other side, just a nut with a gun. Yet I'm the asshole. You know that door swings both ways, right. trump has yet to concede the last election. He been attacking democracy since 2020. Yes, we are not a democracy, we are a democratic republic.

Right, let's pretend like we don't actually know why this is being brought up. All of the rights obsession with DEI nonsense definitely has no connection. Maybe Musk is too stupid to know what he's relaying. "Protecting a bag of Cheetos", yeah, top level take. "or it was deliberate". Hey, your boy totally saved the "town square" and now maybe he'll get to the bottom of this! Kek...

She literally was the security director for PepsiCo, the maker of Cheetos. It was a joke, seeing as she's protecting cheetos once again, you humorless, projecting ass.

BBC had a former SAS security specialist say the exact same thing that Elon said. Sooo... yeah I'd argue it actually is a top level take.

I know what her job was. I saw all the same shit. Yes, it was nothing more than a "joke". Right after an assassination attempt. Makes sense. Definitely not a jump to taking shots at things for political/ideological gain.

PepsiCo is fucking massive. Head of security there I'm sure is a very involved job.

The angle here is clear and you can disagree all you want. They're downplaying her previous experience while simultaneously blaming her for this for pretty obvious reasons.

Don't worry though, super genius Elon Musk is on the case

That's a fair statement, but you guys have been calling the same arguments "whataboutism" or "victim blaming" for the last 8 years. So, I don't really have an ounce of sympathy for you.

You seem to be forgetting that this unacceptable security failure is ultimately her responsibility and she deserves the blame that is currently coming her way. What's between her legs is irrelevant. The director of Secret Service needs to be held accountable.

We have the sitting president calling his challenger a dictator and a threat to democracy two weeks leading up to an assassination attempt. You have Elon Musk cracking a joke about the Secret Service director. And you're trying to equate the two. This is a retarded take.

  • Secret Service have a zero failure policy. That means they failed miserably just for allowing the kid to take a shot.

    Director’s Message
Our FY 2023-2027 Strategy is focused on achieving
excellence through talent, technology, and diversity.

We have a critical mission to protect our nation’s
leaders and financial infrastructure. Dedication to
our talent and adherence to our core values provide
the foundation necessary to achieve this mission.
We are grateful for the support we receive from
the Department of Homeland Security, and for our
    partnerships across government, law enforcement,
academia, and the private sector. All of these
relationships contribute to the success of our
    mission.
As we execute our mission, we must also look to the future. If we do not
consciously invest in the future, we will be overtaken by it. Threats to our
leaders and infrastructure will continue, with adversaries becoming more and
more sophisticated. It is critical that we continue to transform and stay ahead
of these threats. As such, our FY 2023-2027 strategy focuses on people,
leverages technology, sustains our no-fail mission, and details five key areas
where I would like to focus on transformation:
    ■ Strengthen Strategic Partnerships
    ■ Modernize our Footprint
    ■ Optimize Processes
    ■ Adopt Holistic Approach to Resourcing
    ■ Advance our Brand
Executive leadership is critical for our strategy, and each objective in our
strategic plan will be led by a senior member of my team to ensure success.
Together, the leadership team is committed to executing the strategy, and has
my full support in moving us forward.
I want to acknowledge the workforce for their significant contributions to this
plan. Each strategic objective is rooted in employee engagements. Whether
through focus groups; scenario-based planning; strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis; or other avenues – we listened.
Please take the time to read through this plan and understand our direction.
I am confident that together we can achieve Excellence through Talent,
    Technology, and Diversity. -Kimberly Cheatle

Being director of secret service is nothing like security at Pepsi ffs.
I'd like to see her resume against other people that put theirs in. Until then you can't convince me this isn't a dei hire and it ended as expected.
But let's not forget the left trying to get rid of Trumps SS detail months before.

And I feel the same about trump for reasons stated before. Funny thing is, with the state of things he probably could have the 2024 election even without pedaling election fraud and just have conceded. Biden is looking more frail by the day.

Axe posted at 11pm and my reply was immediately thereafter.  At that point I had been watching the CNN coverage and the replays of the assassination attempt for 2 hours.  They never once refrained from calling that an assassination attempt.

As I said, they had no choice after everyone else was reporting honestly.

I just showed you proof they intentionally downplayed it at the start.

Not so fast.  Next Generation Twitter is social media where shit/headlines get doctored in there 24/7.  You can pretend it's honest media since Fox News got sued for mega $$$ for their lack of honesty.

    @diehardbrownsfan1 said:

Another thing that makes no sense.  The shooter was 148 yards from the Podium, a clear view.  People saw him climbing the building with a rifle.  They yelled at the police.  Why did this guy get so close?  Why didn't the Secret Service see this guy?  Why didn't the police stop the guy?  These are legitimate questions that are being asked by all networks and personnel on the ground..

Precisely!  That's why CNN didn't need to race a story before all info was received; because Mark Rubio was having a public panic attack on Next Generation Twitter at 6:53 pm. The shootings were at 6:15 pm last evening.  They covered it all showing replays where viewers could hear the gun shots and see the secret service racing to cover Trump.

I'm not implying he's right, but I would empathize with anyone in that situation.  That doesn't mean you have vote for him.

Pretty bad aim if this guy was that close.  148yards?
He must’ve had a suppressor on that rifle too,  it wasn’t very loud

I knew this guy was an amatuer before they posted his age. How gullible would you have to be to believe this was a professional hit?
