I think this is something EVERYONE on this board could get behind...

Sweet 8lb, 6oz baby Jesus, let him get suspended again and let it be enough that the rest of his contract can be voided.

Orange_Ranger

If they did the typical athlete exceptionalism ho um when it was like 20 people coming forward why would one more matter? Because he played a bad game?

I think there is possible physical assault attached to this one?

Ahh yeah that might make a difference… But I don’t know sometimes I think the weird jock brain could let the right athlete get off a genocide conviction with a month suspension and a fine for poor conduct.

When Kareem Hunt got suspended after the video came out of his physical altercation in a Cleveland hotel lobby, and Kansas City cut him, did the contract become null and void, thus KC didn't have any salary hit because of it?

NFL has no comment about new Deshaun Watson lawsuit

Browns149

Just get rid of him already. And take Jimmy and Dee with him

Wait a bit for actual facts to come out on this. Florio is a gossip columnist with a NFL football website.

He calls himself an "instigator."

Not saying this story has no facts to it, but Florio is the last person I would get info from about ANYTHING. Mike Florio is the most non credible human on the planet.

I don’t know how to navigate all this other than to close my eyes real tight and think of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. “Look for the helpers” says Mr.Rodgers. But it sure would be easier if all the criminals got out of their way.

was this something already disclosed to the league office ? we do not know. better wait and see

I will say it is interesting that it surfaces now all of a sudden... Even though I think Defraud is a dip shit... It could be likely he's being set up... Just a hunch on either end...

Exactly.

Florio has never ever written or spoke anything bad about the Houston Texans' blatant enabling of DW to commit these "massage crimes."

Watson certainly was his own worst enemy, but remember the Texans set up his hotel rooms. How they got to keep those 3 #1 picks remains a complete mystery to me ( I'm not saying the Browns should have them back).

Regarding the "new allegations," I suspect a cash grab.

This whole NFL "discipline" thing is a complete sham. Racheed Rice still playing, no reprimand for wreckless driving, almost killing people, and Josh Gordon was suspended nearly 3 seasons for smoking weed. Makes no sense.

Come on guys - this is just a classic “she said she said she said she said x 21 more she said vs he said!”. The best thing that could happen is this somehow leads to the exempt list. Also, relevant Chappelle:

Right?! I mean, where's this woman been? Did he just unchain her from the bedpost or something? I don't like the person that Watson is either but Geesh...
