Tale of the Tape - Browns vs Giants

Sorry but "He ain't my brother".. Jacoby Brissett and Joe Flacco were brothers.. so was Mayfield... This asshole (Ddub) was "forced" on us.. A PR nightmare from the first second of ignition.. Watson is pure trash... Not because of what he may.. or may not have done.. But because he simply was dumb enough to get himself in that situation... Anyone with that obscene lack of self awareness has no business being in a position of leadership of any kind... This kid can't can't even lead himself...
Well, let's say your actual brother or any family member was going through something similar. Would you throw them away, or figure out why this happening and get them the help they need? It's not even about sports or him being able to lead the Browns.
I realize in the world today it is fashionable to be mostly negative about almost everything.
Just not the way I roll. To each their own.

It polarized the fan base obviously. Our owner is known for making dumb decisions. DW wouldn't have been hired anywhere in the job market with those allegations, until he was cleared.
That being said, I root for the jersey. DW is the QB, I want him to succeed. That means the Browns succeed. I've never ever been conflicted on that.
I can't tell anybody else how to think. That's just how I roll.
Go Browns

Like I said.. He ain't my "Brother".. I just don't like the guy... There's nothing redeemable or inspiring about him... Every browns QB before him there was something you could latch on to despite race.. religion.. nationality ... Whatever it may be.. There was a "Personality"... This guy has "nothing".. besides apparent $$$$

Let's just get the Browns the win
I have my own QB concerns. If J-Love isn't cleared by doctor's in the next few days, the Packers are looking at 1-2 after 3 games. The Titans have a real good defense. If you try to run 53 times like against Indy, the Titans will crush you.
Also, trying to let Malik win it with his arm is another losing proposition.
Free J-Love from the training room.

Yes
J Love was my fantasy QB. Jayden Daniels to the, eh hem, rescue lol

I am going Giants getting the 6.5. I think it will be a tight game.
A little upset with Browns fans giving up on and not supporting Deshaun Watson. He is your brother, you have his back in bad times and good.
Sucks most of these Browns games have the same kickoff times as Packers games.
Oh well, good luck, just don't win big. Win by 6.

umm...we've been here since the beginning so we have a little more history with him than you. We've been hearing him answer questions for a long time. I find him to be kind of a self centered jerky type. His off the field issues seem to tie in well with that persona. So don't be letting on that we have to like him to root for him to win us games. He came to us because we offered the guaranteed money.

It's now at 6, so if you got it there that's good.

This is the matchup that was shown on TV in a little town in Rhode Island, all those years ago, that made me a Browns fan. Me, Moses and Keith Richards watched Jim Brown pile up yardage.
Obviously the numbers here depict a Dead Heat. With the one exception being that the Giants appear to be quite susceptible to the run. We are now ranked in the bottom third of the league at running the ball...and deservedly so. We might get Conklin back this week...but will we wind up tossing him in at LT? Perhaps he'd be better than the guy that we signed to the PS and then signed to the active roster a day or two later to start at LT.
This is the second leg of a possible four game win streak. I'm hoping that our OL can take control of the 28th ranked run defense and get our RBs some room to run. And penalties...we've gotta stop screwing up all the time.

I LOVE hearing stories about how people became Browns fans.
I think it's awesome that with the NY/Boston media markets you become a Browns fan!

I came with JFF and stayed despite taking more shit than you can imagine. But I got let off the hook because I promised when Myles was just a soph at A&M he would be one great player if the Browns could find a way to get him. Thank you Myles for being the player I knew you were from day one. I got to stay and enjoy a lot of fun with this board of dedicated fans. And this year I get to go to see the Browns play with my other favorite in Denver thanks to my nephew with season Broncos tickets. Look for the fool wearing Browns "95" jersey in enemy territory.?

Never said you have to be in love with him to support him. What I hear from Browns fans though is that he is a horrible person and they couldn't care less if he fails in life. "He has no redeemable qualities." A bit much in my opinion. You don't know him personally. I don't know him personally either, but I touched on some reasons, in another thread, why I think he is not performing well on and off the grass. I hope he finds the help he needs. He may also need to have a change of scenery in the NFL. I think somehow getting out of Cleveland would be a positive for him. I wish him well.

No, no, no. WE were the change of scenery that he supposedly needed. Now he needs a change of scenery from the change of scenery?

Back when me, Moses and Keith Richards were watching Jim Brown the Patriots were in some other league. Most people's favorite NFL team in New England was the Giants. They were the 'local' NFL team so they were on TV a lot...along with the Eagles, Colts, Redskins and Browns.
-- This is one of my Must Win games. You've GOT to beat the teams that you're supposed to beat......if your goal is to qualify for the playoffs.

I'm glad you stayed! I'm shocked you stayed given the let down that turned out to be.
The first half of Myles career has been significant. I want this team to win now so he can continue leading the locker room.

Was on my list too. On the "NFL's Hardest Schedule" this looked liked one of the few gimmes.

Browns Injury Report: Yet another offensive tackle is hurt
Depth can't catch a break.

That's not good. It's the same knee that kept him out last year, correct? Hopefully Conklin & Wiils can play this week...but they'll probably be some rust.
-
Where can you watch on the local tvs?
https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2024&wk=3
Looks like most of Ohio is good, except for my forsaken homies in Van Wert county. You border areas in PA, WV and KY are good too.
Most of NY is good as well, except for you Buffalopian tubes. Let’s hear it for CT and VT. Vermont is the setting for half of all Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel, so we’ll consider this an early Christmas gift for you.
And somehow the shitty parts and the good parts of New Jersey get the Browns. That would be Newark and Red Bank, respectively.
Eddie Wilson lives!

Next 3, Giants, Raiders, and Washington are all must wins for the Browns, if the playoffs are in their future. Gotta have the ones you should win.
Where is it rated the "NFL's Hardest Schedule"? Someone here??
