watching Fields play QB for the stoolers is making me sick
The ball comes out quick, on time and on target. Watson does NONE OF THOSE THINGS

Wasn't home. Just watched the condensed version. Cooper had a good game. Ford did the best he good and was pretty good. But he didn't help the QB on that fumbled handoff.
Emerson Jr had a bad stretch of plays. Newsome had 3 tackles and some misses.
#58 Jordan Hicks is around the ball a lot (8 tackles). Delpit lead the team with 10 and JOK 9.
The D wasn't great, but not bad considering they had to play a half quarter longer than the NY D.
Wills' 1st game back since way back into last season, limited in practice all week, and it showed at times.
It's just a matter of time before Watson gets hurt again. He didn't have great protection, but sometimes he held the ball and finally fired when the window was closing shut. He made some inaccurate throws...but it wasn't as bad as last week. Which wasn't as bad as the first week. Remember, he's got this year to play and work himself into form. He has to keep showing progress. ( I would not call this a great game by Watson )
This was a game that we weren't supposed to lose. At least it was an NFC team.

Thanks. Just before halftime the camera showed lots of empty seats. Perhaps they were just getting a head start on the concession lines. - A very disappointing game -

Browns fans at the new stadium have been notoriously slow getting to their seats at the beginning of the game and getting back at the start of halftime.
-
But yea, the game sucked. The browns lost to a team who was trying to lose.
The offense is the worst I can remember in a very long time. Yea I know OL sucks, receivers suck, quarterback sucks. Seems like it’ll be a long season.

Baker down 14-0 at the moment.
It's interesting watching what happens to him when a team has a corner, like Denver has Sutton, who can take on Mike Evans and not have to roll help his way.

And unfortunately for me, that has caused Evens to score zero points for me in the last two games. Now if Cook can just get two DTs or 1 TD and 134 yds tonight for Buffalo, I win the weekend anyway. He's currrently the 7th rated RB in the league, so "I'm sayin' there's a chance".?

I listened a good segment on #4 today and I think it made a really good point. The OL has played extremely below average and I'm not going to argue that. However, Watson is playing so awfully that he's running into the sacks instead of making the right read on where pressure is coming. I can think of 3 times yesterday where the dude ran into the pressure instead of away from it. The pocket awareness is just gone, gone, gone.
The second part of the segment was what I feel is happening. Like it or not, the team's life blood runs through the QB position in almost every scenario. You have a guy playing fucking awful, who seemingly doesn't give a shit, and it infects the entire team.
Lastly, the throws this dude is missing are just absurd. I can't find the clip, but the play Cooper came out for on 3rd down Tillman was country wide open. Like catch the ball and get 15+ more yards. I don't get angry at these clowns any more, but that one was the epitome of this nightmare. Worst QBR in the league for a starter- just insane.

In case you wanna re-live the misery…

Yea he’s bad bad, the OL grades low, and Watson grades as the worst in the league.
At least some in the crowd started chanting for Jameis by the 4th. Total shit show

Yes, let's scapegoat Watson and turn a blind eye to the horrible OL, clown play caller and a suspect defense.
But glad the fan base has someone to blame for another failed season. At least there is that to whine about until the draft.

Multiple things can be true. We had the suspect OL last year, a QB who could hit quick timing routes really made the OL look better - at least not be under the spotlight as much. With Watson last year, this year there has been equal talk about the bad OL.
Watson can’t read the field pre-snap or post-snap for shit. He can’t call out blocking assignments, can’t read the defense, doesn’t have the power or accuracy for tight windows. The dude is obviously cooked.
A decent QB would elevate this squad and we saw it last year…he should know what coverage the defense is showing, where his receivers will be and when, know which option his receiver is taking on an option route. Watson has none of that - he’s just winging it.
Sure the OL, playcalls, receivers could be better - but it’s very obvious that #4 has been the biggest issue with this offense. I mean he’s literally worse than Brandon weeden, on a team that is obviously all around much better than those teams

We only saw an old Joe Flacco get off the couch last year and post multiple 300 yard plus game while this ass hat (DeSuck) nurses his shoulder on the sidelines.. .. I'm done with the excuses..
