Kind of weird that he's here and such a big part of this board for so long, then after Stan passes away he leaves.
The timing seems... peculiar.
Kind of like with hoorta too... he pretty much has left this board after being such a big part of it about the same time.

Peculiar? Not really. Z is still quite alive and well over on Facebook. What happened is- sadly, Steve is letting his inmates run the asylum here. I've totally had it with the bullshit he lets his pals get away with over on the (essentially unmoderated) Political Forum, and it's filtered over here to the Browns side. My decision to stop posting essentially is mine, and mine alone- and has nothing to do with Zombo.
Me attempting do any semblance of moderation here is a waste of my time- so I don't bother anymore. I also don't have the time or inclination to engage in any rational debate with members who would have been kicked off of any other forum for outright insanity. Yeah- that's a pretty big reason, but there are others.
I'll stop by on occasion to see what's going on here, but anymore I'm not going to waste hours of my day trying to keep certain posters under control. Steve has made his bed- and he can sleep in it. As far as I'm concerned, the plug should have been pulled here- when the opportunity presented itself.

Steve is (at least I think) still paying the bills, so he can run TBB however he sees fit. Needless to say, I don't agree with his POV. This isn't the only Browns Forum out there, and the vast majority of them don't tolerate the sort of shit that's allowed here. If you haven't noticed, we've lost a lot of valuable football posters for exactly that reason.

Zombo is surely busy, but he is 0-3 in his Otto Graham fantasy football league, unless he wins tonight because my qb, Jayden Daniels of Washington doesn't get me at least ten points. I miss his recaps on fantasy football; but he is probably po'd about it.

That wasn't a rumor - that was the truth. If Stan told me that every time Cal tattled "almost weekly" as he put it; rest assured that Zombo who was running the board for Stan knew it. Here's pretty much how Stan put it one of the last times he called me before he passed away. "Every time Cal tattled, which was almost weekly against a vastly outnumbered opponent - I had to investigate the problem to the satisfaction of the people I was leasing the board from. He said, I know he's your friend Flugel but he's not the "aw shucks" clean cut guy you think he is. He's almost always the bigger dickhead that starts the problem. As soon as there's an attempt made by the other guy to argue his point - at least 5 guys jump in to defend Cal." You don't say! He also made it a point to inform me Cal rarely ever told the truth when he researched the whole thing. Keep in mind, I didn't want to find all this out. I'm glad I did though.
