ok, so that was a brutal game to watch.
The Commanders (Skins for short) pressured the crap out of our OL knowing that the dam would break. One time Ford stepped up to take on a blitzing LB'er and got plowed backwards right into Watson.
As much as I don't like Watson, his numbers were just about the same as Daniels' (except for yardage). He could have played better, yes, but most of the time it was, drop back, take a look at the primary, dodge and run from the rush, and try to find a receiver ad-libbing to an open area of the field.
There was nowhere for our RB's to run...although we made a few yards when the game was just about over.
On D, I heard Myles mentioned a lot but he didn't register a stat in the gamebook. JOK played well again, but he didn't get it done containing Daniels. And when Ward went out, the WR's benefitted.
I'm pretty sure that we extended our lead in the 'Being Sacked' column.

A couple things.
As long as Watson is healthy, he will start. Because this team is in win mode - and that means either win now or win later, but no where in between. And by that, I mean, if it isn't win now, the evaluation will lead this team to draft a new QB who can hopefully win later.
Secondly, this team is old and hurt on the Oline with underperforming QBs and RBs. Winston isn't going to fix this.
Credit the WSH coaches on offense. Crunch is becoming all the rage, especially against these aggressive, upfield defenses like the Brownies.

Only if Kev has the 'nads to bench his bazillion dollar bum. If the Denver Donkey can shit can Russell Wilson, the Browns need to swallow their pride and admit they made a humongous mistake.

A third string QB from Saint Ignatius? Orion, this is painful for me to watch... When the QB rankings come out- expect Watson to be at the bottom of the list. Ditching Flacco- mistake. I'd take ANYONE with some NFL talent right now instead of Watson. He's looking like Brandon Weeden on a BAD day. Or- pick your other favorite Browns QB bum.
I do admit he looks a touch better than QB Ken Dorsey, which is another major screw up the Browns Front office did. Yep, Mr. Haslam- time to blow it all up again. a record like 4-13 will make your decision pretty easy.

I'm pretty sure there's quite a few people under the delusion that there's some magical QB on this roster that can overcome a horrible OLine situation coupled with a complete clusterfuck when it comes to scheme to put up results we are all yearning for.
This isn't me sticking up for Watson - I'm still impatiently waiting for him to get suspended again so we can rid ourselves of this fiasco of a situation - but I just can't see things getting better with Winston or DTR either.
The whole offense is fubar'd.

Joe Flacco in for the injured Richardson was 33/44 359 yds and 3 TDs 0 Ints. Def was awful so they still lost 37-34.

I feel like I may have overestimated the Browns. It will never get turned around until Stefanski is gone. I don't care that he won a couple coach of the year awards. Idiot sportswriters are the ones that vote on that. You ever see some of those writers? A lot of them can't tie their own shoes without assistance.
Eagles next? Philly will steamroll Cleveland.
Usually I am more positive about the Browns. I do still think Watson could be more successful if a complete moron wasn't in charge of the offense.

The owner won’t allow it. Our coach has ZERO to say about who plays QB.
