I pplayed Hurts - in place of Baker Mayfield because of the Saints defense being very good.

nope - Bucs won, 51-27. Mayfield threw for 325 yards and 4 TDs. (3 ints)......

Bucs Saint game was wild and closer than the score suggests. Bucs kept shooting themselves in the foot.

  • Well, the Packers won. You all can take joy in that.

Don't watch Stefanski's postgame presser. This will only make you wish he was fired already like I do.

  • Meanwhile the Ravens and Steelers are kicking ass.

That was supposed to be us this year.

    You were right about Mayfield.

He has matured into a solid NFL QB.

    OUCH!

You got it Tom.  As i said earlier, this season has devolved into a cluster fuck. Bad coaching replacements, some injuries, and OMG... can I dare say it again...   Watson SUCKS!!!!   He's not the only problem, but he's 90% of it.

How long can this go on? Tank the season to go for a top 5 draft pick?  Keeping El Stinko in there will guarantee it, as well as Stefanski and probably Berry and Depodesta getting shown the door.  SOMEONE is going to have to take the fall for engineering the worst trade in NFL history, and Mr. Haslam isn't going to fire himself (though at this point) he probably should.

I hate to be negative, but this brings back bad memories of Brandon Weedon or Deshone Kiser bad.  Sad,  a team that had Super Bowl aspirations being- stick a fork in them- they're done- before November rolls around. A loss to the Bungles will pretty much cement it an epic over rating.

  • Nick Harris out for the season.

  • Season's pretty much done. We're going to change QBs when it's too late, probably have a run but end up missing the playoffs and end up outside the top 5 in the draft.

I don't think so.  The OL is just taking injury after injury.  5 sacks today against a team that came in with 6 sacks for the season.  You're dead in the water without a functioning OL.

Ya know, I'm not even interested in what Mike Lombotomy says.  I never agreed with him when he was with us.

You think Winston or DTR would make that big of a difference?

I mean, I'm all for it, but I don't think the end result would change much. Maybe we'd lose more respectfully. ?

    It's almost impressive.

They've lost three centers... they've lost time with three tackles... they've lost Teller for the season. I think Bitonio has been banged up.

I know Callahan leaving has been a concern, but I can't honestly think we can evaluate Dickerson due to the complete lack of cohesion the massive amount of injuries have caused.

I'd only be interested in seeing DTR.  Winston is apparently a heck-of-a nice guy...but a turnover machine.  He's reached his plateau.  DTR is young such that there is some possibility that he could progress.  But we would need to be pretty darned sure that Watson is history.  And today did not prove that.  Watson did not beat the Eagles, but his numbers show another incline over the previous week...much like the week(s) before that.
