You have to get lucky if you don't want to end up in last place when the computer says

your draft was a D- and you'll end up in last place. lol

Yeah, mine gave me a bad rating too, but I understood what Henry would become with the Ravens, the best running back and highest FFL scorer after the first 4 games. I also got Evans, RB Cook of Buffalo, Mahomes, Justin Tucker and the SF Defense. And I have Chubb, who had a very bad rating, for my mid-season hope. Currently overall my worst rated team (out of 8 players) is 3rd only 6 points behind # 2 (1790 vs 1784 total). We have a different scoring system than yours. Oh yeah, and throw in C. Kirk and G. Kittle plus QB Richardson. I still don't see what the computer saw in rating me a D.

You know I'm not aiming this at you.  Who has Mike Evans and let's yahoo decide that you better bench him every week only to be surprised he keeps outscoring their projected points for him by about 10-12 points?  They base all their projections off the previous year during the 1st month or so.  Mike Evans made Johnny Manziel look like he prioritized football before he made Baker Mayfield look like the 1st round QB (Carolina hoped they were going to get).  And, if you've played FF long enough - it's not uncommon to see last year's heroes turn into this year's zeros or vice versa. Sam Darnold would be a good example of vice versa.

If someone lets Yahoo draft both of their teams and uses their projected scoring system for their entire starting lineup each week - they are depriving themselves of the opportunity to have fun with the competition of it all.  Different strokes for different folks.

That's why I love drafting my own and don't rely on some computerized system. My brain told me adding a back like Henry to an outside runner like Jackson would make them both supreme running threats behind that great offensive line. You can't stop them both and Jackson is a wizard in reading his options. And I knew sooner rather than later Baker would figure out what a great receiver he has who is known to be more than able to bail out a QB in trouble if you just make it a tossup between the former basketball player and any DB. He boxes out and takes it away. Plus, like K. Hunt, he smells end zones.

  • Vikings last position (i have their D) I was yelling to just run the clock out, Well they didnt and the fucking jets scored

  • F ing Vikings D same as last week. Look great in the first half and let the other team back in, In the second

  • My super star wr Malik Nabers is out with a concussion, so I had to pick up another wr that I hope will do the job - Jacoby Myers LV

  • I just picked up, Philly's D

  • SO, halfway through the regular season, after 8 games....

usually my goal is to not come in last. lol.

This season, I've been lucky. Except for injures.

  • UPDATES:

    OTTO GRAHAM LEAGUE

Calfox Kosardawgs Triumphs Over Zombo's Brown Dawgs: D-Grade Doesn't Cut It!

In a thrilling conclusion to the season, Calfox Kosardawgs bested Zombo's Brown Dawgs with a final score of 102.00 to 85.00, clinching victory on Sunday night. Zombo's Brown Dawgs might want to consider changing their grade from D+ to 'Darn It!' after falling short of their projection by a whopping 8.33 points. Maybe next year, they'll take a class in 'How to Not Lose.'

Zombo's Brown Dawgs's shining star was Brian Thomas Jr., who decided to show up and score 20.00 points, exceeding his projection by 6.41 points. Meanwhile, Caleb Williams must have taken a vacation, scoring a measly 2.00 points and missing his projection by nearly 10 points. On the other hand, Calfox Kosardawgs's Malik Nabers was a scoring machine with 30.00 points, while Jerome Ford must have been lost in the sauce, managing just 1.00 point.

With this win, Calfox Kosardawgs wraps up their season with a solid 10-5-0 record, leaving Zombo's Brown Dawgs in their dust at 9-6-0. Calfox Kosardawgs is now sitting pretty at the top of the standings, while Zombo's Brown Dawgs will have to ponder how to climb back up from second place. Maybe they can get a motivational poster or something? After all, it's hard to look good when you're stuck in the D-range.

With the season now completed, both teams will have to hit the drawing board for next year. Zombo's Brown Dawgs, take this time to reflect on how you can improve your grade from D+ to at least a C-; perhaps some extra credit in player selection? Calfox Kosardawgs, congratulations on the victory! Just remember, next year you'll have a target on your back as the reigning champions, so don't get too comfortable in that A- grade!

  • And, LOL, this league was crazy. And I came in FOURTH place.

How did it go for my KosarDawgs the second half? At one point, all three of my qb's were on a bye week.

Poor planning on my part. lol. and injures, more injuries, wrong picks - some players dropped their usual high scores, and some players

who usually didn't pan out, got huge numbers all of a sudden.

In the PHIL DAWSON LEAGUE.... This is a typical loss: His rb got a touchdown in the last two minutes. Third place just wasn't meant to be, I'll have to work on my second half managing.

I mean, seriously, check this crazy one out:

C+ Not Enough to Pass: ohioretired Edges Out Calfox KosarDawgs!

In a nail-biting finish, ohioretired clinched victory with a final score of 167.04 to Calfox KosarDawgs's 165.56, taking the lead on Monday. Looks like Calfox KosarDawgs's C+ report card isn't going to cut it in the playoffs! Better luck next semester, folks!

Calfox KosarDawgs's shining star was Baker Mayfield, who decided to ignore the projections and put up a jaw-dropping 44.56 points instead of the projected 21.74. Meanwhile, James Conner must have been busy on Instagram, scoring a pathetic 2.80 points against a projection of 14.41. On the flip side, ohioretired's Tee Higgins crushed it with 40.10 points, way above the 15.71 projection. But what happened to Zay Flowers? A meager 5.10 points on a 14.02 projection? Ouch.

With this win, ohioretired improves to a stellar 13-2 record, while Calfox KosarDawgs wraps up their season at 11-4. ohioretired's on the rise, sitting comfortably at 3rd place, while Calfox KosarDawgs, despite their valiant efforts, ends up in 4th. Looks like Calfox KosarDawgs will have to find another way to spend their Sundays now that their fantasy season has come to a close. Can someone get them a hobby?

As both teams pack up their fantasy gear for the season, it's time to reflect on what went wrong. Calfox KosarDawgs, perhaps next year you could focus on not letting your worst players drag you down? And ohioretired, congratulations on the win! Just remember, even the best teams can trip over a banana peel. Stay sharp for next season!

  • We play even the limping in last week of the season. You just have to figure out which teams need the wins and play your players on those. Add in what you see as a motivated player regardless of whether their team is clearly out of it. For me that would be Carolina's WR Adam Thielan. Been out most of the year, so it's a pride game for him. I lost so many for the season that I had to play him.

I think Zombo controls those? At least he used to. They are not showing up for me either so I am guessing they may not have been renewed with invites sent out for this year, or maybe we missed them.

Yeah, Zombo basically disappeared. I posted last year that I was running a Survivor pool for us, only 4 others joined.
