GOP murders another woman in Texas

Political Discussion

  • Texas’s abortion ban threatens prison time for interventions that end a fetal heartbeat, whether the pregnancy is wanted or not. It includes exceptions for life-threatening conditions, but still, doctors told ProPublica that confusion and fear about the potential legal repercussions are changing the way their colleagues treat pregnant patients with complications.

In states with abortion bans, such patients are sometimes bounced between hospitals like “hot potatoes,” with health care providers reluctant to participate in treatment that could attract a prosecutor, doctors told ProPublica. In some cases, medical teams are wasting precious time debating legalities and creating documentation, preparing for the possibility that they’ll need to explain their actions to a jury and judge.

Sounds like the hospital is being incompetent. Hell, it could be an excuse to cover their wn tracks after shrugging her conditions off.

Maybe all of politics should address this concern and make sure hospitals know and are covered in protecting the mom in these situations. If it ever comes down to a choice of who lives or die, that should fall solely on the individual/family. Not doctors or regulations.

That's the problem with the left, they just want to blame the other side constantly and do nothing constructive. Like you guys pretending to care about anything, it's all a game to you, except Woody, I think he is just an ignorant dumbass. You pretend to ignore the crimes by illegals yet when a couple mothers die all of the sudden you care, all in the name of killing babies.

  • woodpecker, you seem to totally lack the ability to learn anything, to be honest about anything, and understand

    correctly what you "read".

So, your education is questioned for good reason.

Your belligerence and lack of respect for anyone else stinks up this forum.

Cal, you frequently quote other posters, turn their words into "fart" "peck" whatever and just reply with woodpecker or other images.

You consistently get called out posting a series of google links that you didn't read when I find one in there refuting whatever asinine point you're trying to make.

And you want to talk about respect and reading comprehension????

Hahaha that's a fucking joke. Again, your cognitive dissonance/ complete lack of self awareness will always be amazing to me. But something has to be off in your brain to believe the things you do ...

That's because you never say anything of substance, it's all word salads. We all get it ?

  • Key phrase:, neither of them wanted an abortion.

A close friend's brother in law just died of a hospital acquired infection after a seemingly successful surgery.

Plus I don't think that has anything to do with president Trump's position, except to you and the woodpecker..

But guess what, they both needed one in the end. But the fetus still had a heartbeat, so fuck the women. "Pro-life", what a fucking joke.

  • In what I'm sure is a completely unrelated early voting news.

Steve, these stories have nothing to do with wanting an abortion.

It has to do with the strict, backwards laws in certain states preventing the care that a pregnant woman needs because the doctors are scared of legal repercussions.

Again, woodpecker, the law was POSTED. It shows you are WRONG.

Therefore, you ignore it with insults and flail away.

That's why facts and legit reasoning don't matter.

Seems that you have started every bit of discord with other people you

    criticize.

Not good for you. You swim in Egypt.

Actually it's because neither one of them one of the abortion

Hospital-acquired infections fairly common. It could have just as easily happened to her. Had the doctor killed the fetus. I wonder if your girlfriend cccp would have been bitching about that?

But I know it's one of your talking points.

I guess you didn't bother reading the article. Are you really this stupid? They refuse to treat her because of the abortion bans. You morons killed this woman.

The fetus was on the verge of coming out, its head pressed against her dilated cervix; she was 17 weeks pregnant and a miscarriage was “in progress,” doctors noted in hospital records. At that point, they should have offered to speed up the delivery or empty her uterus to stave off a deadly infection, more than a dozen medical experts told ProPublica.

But when Barnica’s husband rushed to her side from his job on a construction site, she relayed what she said the medical team had told her: “They had to wait until there was no heartbeat,” he told ProPublica in Spanish. “It would be a crime to give her an abortion.”

Steve, please, read and understand the articles and laws at play here before making comments. This is a direct result of archaic abortion laws in many states, and in multiple instances against the will of the people.

I get you're just westside "she shouldn't have been dressed that way" Steve, and out of all issues I'm not expecting you to have any empathy on this one, but please just pay attention.

This had nothing to do with abortion? Or anybody's opposition or support for it good. You could just as easily get a hospital-acquired infection with a knee replacement, face lift. or colorectal cancer surgery.

U and your wife just happened to be obsessed with abortion like your candidate..

You keep lying to yourself. It couldn't be any clearer. They did not treat her because of the abortion ban. That you refuse to acknowledge it, doesn't make it any less true. You are just a dishonest POS.

Steve the only point you've proven is that you aren't following along, at all. You have a complete lack of understanding on this issue at hand. But given your past comments on abortion and women in general I can't say I'm surprised.

The equivalent is you going into the hospital with a massive wound on your knee, requiring surgery, but the doctors refuse to treat you because some religious nuts pushed the idea the Jesus thinks all knees are sacred or something. Then, by the time the doctor feels comfortable treating you it's too late and you've died from an infection. Except in this real world scenario it is an issue only affecting women.

Call it "obsessed" to down play it, but shocker, women care about their reproductive rights. Overturning Roe and the introduction of draconian, evangelical derived abortion laws in conservative states saw a wave of reproductive rights support in 2022 midterms and we'll see how much that carries over tomorrow.

Not that you actually care about abortion or any patient for any reason other than to be an ass on here, but you don't have to believe in religion to have morals enough to understand that there has to be limits to killing babies.
