  • Again, woodpecker, the law was POSTED. It shows you are WRONG.

Therefore, you ignore it with insults and flail away.

    and peck.

You lefties worship your own emotionalism - that is your fake "god".

That's why facts and legit reasoning don't matter.

Seems that you have started every bit of discord with other people you

    criticize.

Not good for you. You swim in Egypt.

Steve, these stories have nothing to do with wanting an abortion.

It has to do with the strict, backwards laws in certain states preventing the care that a pregnant woman needs because the doctors are scared of legal repercussions.

Actually it's because neither one of them one of the abortion

Hospital-acquired infections fairly common. It could have just as easily happened to her. Had the doctor killed the fetus. I wonder if your girlfriend cccp would have been bitching about that?

But I know it's one of your talking points.

I guess you didn't bother reading the article. Are you really this stupid? They refuse to treat her because of the abortion bans. You morons killed this woman.

The fetus was on the verge of coming out, its head pressed against her dilated cervix; she was 17 weeks pregnant and a miscarriage was “in progress,” doctors noted in hospital records. At that point, they should have offered to speed up the delivery or empty her uterus to stave off a deadly infection, more than a dozen medical experts told ProPublica.

But when Barnica’s husband rushed to her side from his job on a construction site, she relayed what she said the medical team had told her: “They had to wait until there was no heartbeat,” he told ProPublica in Spanish. “It would be a crime to give her an abortion.”

Steve, please, read and understand the articles and laws at play here before making comments. This is a direct result of archaic abortion laws in many states, and in multiple instances against the will of the people.

I get you're just westside "she shouldn't have been dressed that way" Steve, and out of all issues I'm not expecting you to have any empathy on this one, but please just pay attention.

I guess woodpecker feels better about himself when he pecks, so I guess it will never end.

If just once he would intelligently and legitimately discuss a political issue, it would benefit the forum immensely.

This had nothing to do with abortion? Or anybody's opposition or support for it good. You could just as easily get a hospital-acquired infection with a knee replacement, face lift. or colorectal cancer surgery.

You keep lying to yourself. It couldn't be any clearer. They did not treat her because of the abortion ban. That you refuse to acknowledge it, doesn't make it any less true. You are just a dishonest POS.

Steve the only point you've proven is that you aren't following along, at all. You have a complete lack of understanding on this issue at hand. But given your past comments on abortion and women in general I can't say I'm surprised.

The equivalent is you going into the hospital with a massive wound on your knee, requiring surgery, but the doctors refuse to treat you because some religious nuts pushed the idea the Jesus thinks all knees are sacred or something. Then, by the time the doctor feels comfortable treating you it's too late and you've died from an infection. Except in this real world scenario it is an issue only affecting women.

Call it "obsessed" to down play it, but shocker, women care about their reproductive rights. Overturning Roe and the introduction of draconian, evangelical derived abortion laws in conservative states saw a wave of reproductive rights support in 2022 midterms and we'll see how much that carries over tomorrow.

Not that you actually care about abortion or any patient for any reason other than to be an ass on here, but you don't have to believe in religion to have morals enough to understand that there has to be limits to killing babies.

you are stinking up the forum again.

apparently on purpose. They had no reason to refuse to treat the infection, etc etc,

    Steve is correct.

And she had that bad an infection, was one week OVER THREE MONTHS pregnant?

A friend's friend's  husband died of covid early on - he refused to go to the hospital until

it was too late. There is more to this story - but it seems it's a sick political leftwing ploy to

frame it for political advantage. That is who you haters are.

I'm guessing no healthcare for over three months? no blood tests for infections to make sure

    everything was ok?

and yes, the law CLEARLY STATES that the life of the mother warrants the move.

But sure, right before an election, bring it up as a reason to allow abortions on demand, even pba,

just because it's a political wedgie you hang your fake offense on.

Too many unanswered questions, but that is how you all frame every narrative you come up with.

         Here';s a thought:

"As of 2023, Texas has a population of approximately 30,503,301, making it the second most populous state in the U.S. after California. The state has experienced significant growth, adding more than 1.3 million people since the 2020 census."

so, out of 30 and a half MILLION, this has happned maybe twice?

It's tragic, but why wasn't this found at a dr.'s office months before?

No dr's visits before pregnanacy nor during the pregnancy for over THREE MONTHS til it was a life-threatening emergency?

The situation is tragic, but using this as an election emotional manipulation on this issue is just low.

I wish you cared about the tragic deaths of all the innocent women who have been raped and brutally murdered by being beaten to death as much....by your illegals "who just want a better life".

This could have happened at 6 or 9 months.

  • Again, wasting my time woodpecker. The correlation between the procedure and the hospital infection is the same as had you taken a bus to get the abortion and been hit by a garbage truck.
