Well, I have just under 3 months before the draft. I'll have to add Stewart to the list.

Be fun to see how he does in the combine compared to Myles. He has some bend to him, but nobody can bend like Myles can. Quickness and speed should show up in the combine. Myles can make him live in the weight room wrestling dinosaurs. LOL!

Just to have a little fun with the 12th Man here - why hasn't he already been in the weight room?  Screw the dinosaurs - bend some steel.  Ma son Graham is bench pressing Ford Rangers as we speak.  Is this gonna be a guy that might be in the mood to play football some weeks?  And I don't even know who the Hell we're talking about...

Shemar Stewart 6'5" 285 lb Edge  And yeah he does the weights, but nobody takes up residence there like Myles seems to do. Moot point anyway if Myles leaves.

Now that I've taken a moment to think, it *might* have been Kiper?  One of those talking heads.  I'll go back and check at some point.

Yes.  We were the first team booked to sit with him.

  • Hard pass on Abdul Carter at the #2 spot.

Tests today revealed that potential No. 1 pick Abdul Carter has a stress reaction in his right foot and the Penn State standout will need to decide soon whether to have surgery, sources told ESPN.

  • I'm not saying this is what we should do, but I think the Browns are going QB at #2. I would prefer trading down, but I think they're pulling the trigger here. Ward if he's there, Sanders if Ward goes one. If they think Ward/Sanders is the guy, then shoot your shot I guess. The Browns are so depressing what's the worst that could happen - Ward/Sanders are a bust and we suck for two years and start over in 2027 with Deshaun's contract off the books? We're going to suck the next two years anyways probably with Deshaun's contract, so swing for a homerun if you're going to swing.

We all know the big problem - the Browns are ? at developing QB's.

The free agent QB's don't make sense, are 1 year bridges, or we don't have the money - Rodgers (washed), Russ (washed), Fields - would be one year bridges. We can't afford Stafford. The Falcons said they are keeping Cousins as a backup unless they're bluffing, and we can't afford that contract - and he might be washed anyways. Sam Darnold will probably get paid by someone with his performance last year. If we pass on QB, we have to go 2-15 next year to get Arch Manning in 2026 unless next year is a deeper QB class and we can snag a Bo Nix type value without a top 2 pick.

Just the other day they said he wouldn't be working out at the Combine because of the shoulder injury and teams would have to wait until his Pro Day/personal workouts.  Do we need another player that's going to have trouble staying healthy over a 17 game season?  #2 is an important pick.  YES, he's talented - but he can't help us if he's not healthy.  We've seen enough of that with our offensive tackles.

Totally. There hasn't been much information on the shoulder. Some said it was a shoulder stinger, others a torn labrum. A stinger only takes a few days to recover from. It's been 7 weeks. A torn labrum is only repaired through surgery. You can play with a torn labrum, but the shoulder will continue to dislocate until you have the surgery and it impacts your play. He probably is holding off on shoulder surgery because it will effect his draft value and money. Now throw in this foot thing. He might slide outside the top 10, although this is a pretty awful draft class. It's funny watching Drew Rosenhaus try to do damage control this morning. The cat's out of the bag my friend.

  • Trade out of #2 , stock pile picks

Well said Bernie!  If the 2 injuries aren't enough - adding Drew Rosenhaus = strike 3.
