The Browns Board

  • With only seven picks (instead of the ten or eleven they would have had) and two of them being RBs and two of them being QBs, I expect the Browns to be very busy with UDFAs.. especially on the OLine.

It was a mild need this year it is a priority next year- WR too. And probably QB and DB.  Oh man

If you replace Gabriel with say whoever was the top rated OLineman at the time, I would absolutely love this draft. I still like it a decent amount. Got no problem with the first four picks for sure, and Sanders at #144 is worth the shot.

    Let's dream a bit.

Let's imagine a scenario where Sanders actually shows he was a legit first round pick.

Now imagine the fun we'd have next draft with two first round picks and QB not being a need. I don't expect this, but oh Lord above I don't believe in, let me be wrong about Sanders! ?

he was definitely worth a roll of the dice, and honestly I believe you he could very well be our QB of the future, and all the talk of his dad coming here to coach,is just stupid and must watch shows like get up or other nonsense

My nightmare - which I mentioned recently concerning Milroe - was that the Browns take a project QB this draft and see just enough in him that they skip QB draft next year that should be much better and we miss our shot at a top QB prospect. I now worry that Sanders might show just enough to make the Browns think they can skip a QB next draft, but long-term he ends up being a JAG.

  • Guardians win the first game of their split double header...

I'll be leaving soon to go downtown for the Jim Gaffigan show at Playhouse Square, if Cleveland is still standing after the excitement over Shedeur Sanders ?

  • As has been said,   Expect a flurry of offensive line UFA's in the coming days.

They had 10 picks - instead of taking a QB I liked for a late round in the 3rd round, they really needed to take a tackle. It's scary that our FO doesn't know this.

BTW, thank you!  I knew we couldn't get everything in 1 draft so we still have Thornhill's Safety spot to fill - maybe FA Justin Simmons?  We drafted 2 good RBs, a great TE, a great DT, an instinctive tackling machine at LBer - also good vrs the pass.

I have a bad feeling that both Sawyer and Howard will do well in Pittsburgh.

For the record, I hope Shedeur becomes the greatest QB in Browns history,

A chance to be the next Brian Sipe.

Ya gotta feel bad for Shedeur. He's probably taking a massive pay cut to join the Browns

Tartanyan may be the coolest name ever. It’s basically a Musketeer’s name, except with less apostrophes and less Frenchiness.

Hopefully that means all the veteran OL already on the roster are healthy...

I've been thinking the same thing. It's the only thing other than incompetence that explains no OLs in this Browns draft.
