I'm going to put this out into the Browns Board Universe now: It would not shock me if Joe Flacco is cut or traded before the season starts and they role with Pickett/Gabriel/Sanders - and all three start games by the end of the season.
This team is being built for the season or two leading into the new stadium in Brookpark.
I'd much rather have the 2 rookies learn from Flacco than Pickett. Though in your scenario it doesn't matter what these 2 QB's learn because we're drafting our real QB next April.

I was watching Jason Lloyd from the Athletic on the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show and he brought up a good point regarding Pickett and Flacco: The Browns went and got Pickett with a draft pick as fast as they could... while they took their sweet time signing Flacco.

Back to Sanders. I saw something to the effect that his dad does not want him to go to the NFL now because he makes more money staying at CU. I don't know if it's legal once someone goes through the draft, gets drafted and then says they want to stay. Highly doubt it,.
