My favourite ever Browns player.
In many ways other than durability better than Jim Brown IMO.

Same. Except l’m American and it would be weird if l started throwing unnecessary u’s in words like favorite and color.
Just watching him play, it was special, it was electric. And he’s such a quiet humble dude.
And he’s Batman.
I might cry a little bit seeing him play in another uniform.

Yes I suppose it would be weird using the actual English language

Nick is my favorite current Brown..And being My "Tocayo" with the same initials NJC is kind of cool too.. I just wish the Browns would do right by him... I get its a business... I guess they want the same stain on their chin as Bill Belicic' ....

They don't want to keep that chin shoot exclusive? Yeah, as much as I really like both RBs the Browns drafted - they could have landed a very promising young OT with the 36th overall pick in round 2 (which would have made room for keeping Chubb - without reading the world according to Mary Kay Cabot announcing Ford's agreement to cut his projected salary in half to stay meant the end to Chubb). Hopefully, the Browns are just keeping quiet that they're really healthy at OT this time around... If not, it's gonna dictate/limit where they can run and how long they can pass protect on the edge...

"I wouldn't rule anything out, but I would say that it's probably increasingly unlikely," Berry told 92.3 The Fan. "We do have two young guys that we liked. We think Jerome [Ford] plays a role. It's basically kind of maybe seeing how the roles shake out in the running back room.
"You're never going to rule out someone as near and dear to our heart as Nick, and I would expect him to take another step being a year removed from the knee injury. But I'd say a return is less likely, at least in the short term, with us right now."
---- As I said in another thread, We no longer have a 'place' for Nick Chubb. We spent a high draft pick for a feature RB. And Ford can back up that position. And we drafted a change of pace RB who WAS a feature RB, so he can also carry some of the feature RB load when needed. It's sobering...but there's no place on the team for my / our favorite Brown of this century.
Who's my / your favorite Cleveland Brown now? Myles? Bitonio?

Just saw a headline come across bottom of ESPN 2 saying multiple teams are showing interest in acquiring Chubb from Cleveland who is not likely to remain with Cleveland. No details on what that actually translates to in terms of whether Cleveland gets anything in return for him.

I really hate the way the Browns are dogging him... This Organization has 0 class..

He signed with the Texans. Was great having him when he was still great!!

Ian Rappaport reporting that Nick Chubb is expected to sign with the Texans on Monday.
I'm sure he'll have a fire in his belly and rattle off 2-3 more solid seasons.

I’ll be rooting for Nick, but I also understand why the Browns moved on from him. He was a shadow of himself last season, has had multiple major surgeries and turns 30 during the season.
