From solar fields to windmilled prairies, etc..... driving out west, we saw the windmills. Huge things, and saw long flat-bed trucks bring in giant windmill wings.......

and the bearings wear out.... and ....

These countries went all in for green.

Now, they are stepping back and realizing it's a failed utopia. Leftwingers are good at that. Socialism utopia, green utopia, etc etc.

Going entirely green energy at this point in time is a lofty goal. I think the more pragmatic green energy enthusiasts are more in the R & D phase, just seeing how it can be used to supplement the grid and become more viable.

Regardless of what you think about global warming, oil is a finite resource. There might be enough in the ground to last for decades or centuries, but eventually it will become scarce. And besides, when you start extracting large quantities of mass from the ground, what do you think is going to eventually happen? Ever played Jenga?

For the record, I don't really see the situation as that dire, but it is it's stupid to be such a pussy about nuclear energy.

nuclear energy is great - unless you get another 3 Mile Island, or like what happened in russia, etc. The technology has to continue to develop. I thought the movie "Chain Reaction" was a fun movie to watch. That was about a hydrogen reactor that was stolen... The problem with the left is, they want to control everything because they suck as human beings, so they demand we STOP using fossil fuels and go to green energy NOW. so stupid. The technology to create energy keeps advancing, that is great.

The tired, asinine refrain about "we have to stop using fossil fuels because it's a finite resource" is a stupid leftwing/UN political bunch of bullhockey. What numbnuts want campers to have nuclear powered campfires???
