There are Americans that make excuses for this.
Another illegal let in by Biden in 2022.
This was an awful, senseless attack and hopefully the attacker/terrorist is fully prosecuted/dealt with
A few things here though:
- I don't think any children were victims. Of the list I saw, none were children. And luckily no one died (hopefully the few in critical condition survive). Crazy that tweet felt the need to add that lie
- This guy entered the country legally, and then was on a legal two year work authorization. It expired in March. So at that point he becomes "illegal", but he wasn't some illegal sneaking over or whatever
I fully expect deranged responses to the above. Correcting the record and calling out lies will somehow be interpreted as supporting terrorism.
It's a damn shame this insane individual did this shit. The right already just latches onto individual incidents and not the big picture, overall data, etc. The public's view on Israel and Palestine was clearly turning. Now the Trump admin will use this to push even crazier crackdowns fueled by the fearmongering of their base.

Illegal clubs can be pretty cool. For whatever reason l dug in to this, l wanted to know how much drugs and weapons they seized. I love those photos of cops looking all proud of themselves with the pounds of cocaine and uzis they seized.
I don’t think they seized a photo op worthy amount with this raid, which was called “Operation Last Stand.” Kinda sounds like they thought they’d have a real fight on their hands. Maybe a little corny with the name choice with the way it played out?
I read a few articles on it, mostly from local news outlets round those parts. I thought this one was the most balanced.
Sounds like The Alamo had a good few year run as a hot spot for dancing amongst the Spanish speakers there. Years from now they will say “¿Recuerda el Alamo?”
