    Andrew Berry is a fucking genius, I mean who else can claim Mayfield was a problem?

    I have no idea why Berry hasn’t been inducted into the Pro Football HOF yet? ?

    The biggest difference is Baker was a #1 overall pick while Sipe was a 13th round pick so the expectations were much different as was the era.  Before that, Baker won the Heisman Trophy so his talent was well advertised.

    The Browns were never going to put him in an ideal situation similar to what he walked into in Tampa. Here's the thing as we look at Jimmy's business today:  No WR worth a shit, No OT worth a shit.  

    Tampa has the following WRs: Mike Evans, Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, Lalen McMillan, etc. At OT Tristan Wirfs has made Pro Bowls at RT & LT - Cleveland's plan at OT was stick with Injured Reserve at LT and the oft-injured Conklin at RT.

    Good for Baker.  I always rooted for him when he was here so I'm happy to see him be what he can be...

    Yeah , It helps when you have guys who consistently catch the ball.. So far... Jerry Jeudy has been a huge disappointment and Ced Tillman is not having the breakout year one would expect from a young WR.. Bond looks frail to me... Not sure how long hes gonna last... I would like to see more wheel routes with Judkins and Sampson... I actually believe had "Dumbell" used that strategy in the 4th qtr... We wouldve won.. But "Dumbell" went all Marty ball and played not to lose..

Also without a doubt I was right and the baker haters were wrong.     Actually just pulling your chain. There's nothing there I disagree with. But the Baker & Watson move is such a dead horse the skeleton is showing up at the water hole. Nothing can fix stupid and we have 'em all from the owner to the FO.

  • To me, it doesn't do any good to rehash the Why Did We Trade Baker thing.  Everyone has stated their like or dislike of the trade.  

    Now, if ya wanna have a thread to that encompasses ALL of the bad player moves that the team has made, Warfield, Phipps, Kosar to Todd Philcox, etc. then perhaps people would go there and depress themselves about all of the history.   

    And 'Haters'?  Those of us that weren't happy that Baker was our QB didn't hate him.  Manziel, we hated.   Watson was/is hated by some.  But Baker wasn't.   

    A better title for the premise of this thread would be, For The Baker Bros.
