Well at one time, we were the winningest franchise in NFL history.

The last 30 years, since Modell bolted,well......

Isn’t it funny how Pitts and the Browns essentially swapped places.

All those below the Browns didn’t exist in 1970.

"Funny" isn't a word I'd use, something 4-letter-ish is more proper?

My Dad warned me about Modell in the 70s, of course I didn't believe him I thought I knew everything.

It's funny if your only purpose is to troll the football board.  Gorka loves his Steelers!!! Does that trend remind you which franchise (Browns or Steelers) won a more recent playoff game in Pittsburgh?  The scoring started with Myles Garrett on the 1st snap of the game and it ended with the Browns scoring 48 points; while Pittsburgh got a junk-time TD with a 1:09 left to bring the score to 48-37.  Your TJ  Watt turned into Casper the Friendly Ghost in the 1st round of the playoffs. Your other heart throb (Roethlisberger)threw 4 INTs. Do we still have our happy face on?  If not, maybe the video of you and a buddy below will bring back some warm fuzzies...

Is @dutch-oven right about you?  It is true that anyone that is tough doesn't need to hide their head under a white sheet when they leave their house.

I don’t know what that was supposed be all about but yeah, they suck! Tomlin sucks!

They hadn’t won a playoff game since what 2016?

All those fuckers have are  “Tomlinships”  … no losing seasons …well big fucking deal.  Thanks Rooney, keep what many perceive as “the greatest coach ever” in Pittsburgh.

  • As far as who is responsible for dealing Flacco, Tony Grossi believes general manager Andrew Berry and owner Jimmy Haslam pushed for the deal.

On ESPN - it was reported Cincy contacted Cleveland about the trade.

Both could be true.  Cincy, or any other team, seeing that Flacco was benched would've surmised that the Browns were done using him on the field.  That from now on it was going to be Gabriel...and if not him it would be Sanders getting his chance to show his ability.  Therefore, Flacco could be had.  Probably Stef wouldn't want to lose the veteran QB but Berry has to prepare for the '26 draft and getting more picks is more draft capital to be used on the draft days.  And Jimmah, well, which way is the wind blowing on that given day?

It was actually Stefanski clarifying it fwiw.  It's 1 minute and 55 seconds into the video when he gives the detail that Cincy wanted a QB and they wanted Flacco. I'm pretty sure he also added Cincy contacting them took them by them by surprise somewhere in the sequence of comments. He also said he trusted Andrew Berry and that kind of thing. Nothing you said was wrong. My wife and I were at the University of Florida that day because we both wanted to see the campus.  While we were eating lunch at a restaurant in Gainesville my wife said you didn't tell me Flacco got traded; so I said why would I tell you that?  She said take a look at the tv screen to our right - he's a Cincinnati Bengal now...

  • Flacco looked great.

He signed on Tuesday and started 5 days later. They put the whole damn game on his shoulders with 45 attempts, and he finishes with a 91.00 Passer Rating, including 2TD's and zero INT's.  Wassup with that?  Why didn't he throw a bunch of INT's, like when he was with CLE?  Damn!  How crazy is that?

Yeah, CIN lost, but 18 points is fairly respectable considering the circumstances, and furthermore, there seems to be an unwritten rule this season, where the Steelers, (in spite of how shitty they are) win every week and everybody else loses. I swear, this is the shittiest AFC North that I have ever seen.

Lack of quality QB’s in the division is the root cause.

I Watched the game he’s playing behind the same shitty offensive line.

WRs plain and simple.  Our WRs aren’t consistent, they run poor routes, rarely make 50/50 catches, and don’t fight hard enough to break up bad passes. Joe had better success because he’s throwing to a very good WR unit now

And wasn't the Packers game the best Joe played for the Browns in his four games?

Oh that's right... for some weird reason I thought the Packers game was the opener.

They weren't.  He's credited with a win over the Packers, but the reality is that they were lining up the game winning FG.  Like we've seen countless times before.  When all of a sudden the football universe twitched, the kick was blocked and we kicked the longest walk-off FG in Browns history.  Basically, it took a couple of miracles to get that win.

I, for one, was totally on board with Cincy calling us and us dealing him to them.  Heck!  WE weren't going to use him anymore.  We got a draft pick for a 40 year old that we signed off the street.  And the fact that Tomlin didn't like it...well, that's just icing on the cake.   Having said that, Flacco is a great guy and it's sad that he had to be jilted like that...but in reality we gave him an opportunity to play somewhere.  It's all good.  (just don't play too good Joe)  🙂

  • Another week of Flacco to capable WRs

  • Flacco looks like an All-Pro. Our receivers are bums

  • Imagine if you will, attacking the Steelers secondary?

Damn, Thursday night games remain unpredictable.

I'm not happy Cincy won but glad the Steelers lost.

Bengals WRs owned the 50/50 balls.  Granted it’s a great unit but Bengals respected the pass rush knew their line is crap and Joe tossed the ball out quickly in coverage and the WRs made plays

  • All I kept seeing were the announcers showing Tomlin at the podium making fun of the Browns because he was upset we gave the Bengals Flacco.

I think we all agree our season was over before it started this year.

Always happy to see the Steelers lose and I'd say we had a hand in this one.

It's insane a pro team could have such a passive attitude when asking fans to pay premium tickets price$.

I'm not a Tomlin fan, but he was absolutely spot on with his comments about AB & Flacco.

The Browns need to beat the Steelers at home.

  • I watched the game last night and yeah Flacco looked good. The Bengals Oline sprung to life and he stood back zinging pretty spirals all over the field. Ja’marr Chase is so stinking good. It’s not just that he’s fast and catches damn near everything, but the guy just manipulates movement so well after the catch that he routinely carves out extra YAC. It’s like he’s using Judo moves out there. He’ll pause or do a little hand swipe move to make a would be tackler over pursue and eat dust.

I was trying to decide which QB has the better crow’s feet between Flacco and Rodgers and l gotta give it to Joe.
