...well, that'd keep him busy...

Cincys Oline is, across the board, measurably worse. Especially on the IOL.
Unless Joe shaves off 15 years along with Chase and Higgy catching every single 50/50 ball imaginable, Joe is going to take as many, likely more, hits and sacks than he did in CLE.
If he doesnt, then expect another high turnover stretch from him.
Per the usual, he'll have one decent game... fans will go nuts on both sides for different reasons, then he'll fade back to the mean and people will magically forget their uproar.

Its like no one watched him in Indy last year, or Indy this year with Daniel Jones.

I fully expect Flacco to crush it in Cincy now
That might be the final nail in the coffin that gets a lot of people fired in the organization

Until then, Jimmy's FO continues to celebrate unchallenged tenure in Cleveland while the musical scapegoats continue. Anyway, last year the Colts signed Flacco and after an impressive 1st 3 games - see the rest as well as the volume of sacks (slow processing). I didn't include his rushing stats because he didn't have any TDs. More specifically, a Cinderella story starring a 39 year old QB is gonna have a very early midnight.
I'm not saying I saw this coming; but 1 year later - the Colts signed Indiana Jones. Here's how he's done as their QB fwiw (notice the change in sacks from quicker processing of passer). In fairness, I don't think anyone projected this for Daniel Jones. That said, the 1 team that put in the research looks to be rewarded for doing so at least for now. I think Sam Darnold's season in Minnesota last year proved the right situation/fit for a QB can improve the QB's chance for success:
-
I bet he wanted to go somewhere he can play, it's probably his last year before retirement.
We suck and wanna ride with the rookies the rest of the way.
-
So long Joe and best of luck, but not too much luck since it’s the Bengals and all…
The sequel to Flaccomania wasn’t nearly as good as the original, but that is often the case with sequels.

We can be famous. Not for winning, though.

Isn’t it funny how Pitts and the Browns essentially swapped places.
All those below the Browns didn’t exist in 1970.

Gorka loves his Steelers!!! Does that trend remind you which franchise (Browns or Steelers) won a more recent playoff game in Pittsburgh? The scoring started with Myles Garrett on the 1st snap of the game and it ended with the Browns scoring 48 points; while Pittsburgh got a junk-time TD with a 1:09 left to bring the score to 48-37. Your TJ Watt turned into Casper the Friendly Ghost in the 1st round of the playoffs. Your other heart throb (Roethlisberger)threw 4 INTs. Do we still have our happy face on? If not, maybe the video of you and a buddy below will bring back some warm fuzzies...
Is @dutch-oven right about you? It is true that anyone that is tough doesn't need to hide their head under a white sheet when they leave their house.

My Dad warned me about Modell in the 70s, of course I didn't believe him I thought I knew everything.

I don’t know what that was supposed be all about but yeah, they suck! Tomlin sucks!
They hadn’t won a playoff game since what 2016?
All those fuckers have are “Tomlinships” … no losing seasons …well big fucking deal. Thanks Rooney, keep what many perceive as “the greatest coach ever” in Pittsburgh.

As far as who is responsible for dealing Flacco, Tony Grossi believes general manager Andrew Berry and owner Jimmy Haslam pushed for the deal.
-
On ESPN - it was reported Cincy contacted Cleveland about the trade.
Both could be true. Cincy, or any other team, seeing that Flacco was benched would've surmised that the Browns were done using him on the field. That from now on it was going to be Gabriel...and if not him it would be Sanders getting his chance to show his ability. Therefore, Flacco could be had. Probably Stef wouldn't want to lose the veteran QB but Berry has to prepare for the '26 draft and getting more picks is more draft capital to be used on the draft days. And Jimmah, well, which way is the wind blowing on that given day?

It was actually Stefanski clarifying it fwiw. It's 1 minute and 55 seconds into the video when he gives the detail that Cincy wanted a QB and they wanted Flacco. I'm pretty sure he also added Cincy contacting them took them by them by surprise somewhere in the sequence of comments. He also said he trusted Andrew Berry and that kind of thing. Nothing you said was wrong. My wife and I were at the University of Florida that day because we both wanted to see the campus. While we were eating lunch at a restaurant in Gainesville my wife said you didn't tell me Flacco got traded; so I said why would I tell you that? She said take a look at the tv screen to our right - he's a Cincinnati Bengal now...

Flacco looked great.
He signed on Tuesday and started 5 days later. They put the whole damn game on his shoulders with 45 attempts, and he finishes with a 91.00 Passer Rating, including 2TD's and zero INT's. Wassup with that? Why didn't he throw a bunch of INT's, like when he was with CLE? Damn! How crazy is that?
Yeah, CIN lost, but 18 points is fairly respectable considering the circumstances, and furthermore, there seems to be an unwritten rule this season, where the Steelers, (in spite of how shitty they are) win every week and everybody else loses. I swear, this is the shittiest AFC North that I have ever seen.

Lack of quality QB’s in the division is the root cause.

I Watched the game he’s playing behind the same shitty offensive line.
WRs plain and simple. Our WRs aren’t consistent, they run poor routes, rarely make 50/50 catches, and don’t fight hard enough to break up bad passes. Joe had better success because he’s throwing to a very good WR unit now

And wasn't the Packers game the best Joe played for the Browns in his four games?
