- You rarely engage/post on the football side.
☆I rarely post at all anymore. Any of the interesting Liberals are gone and there weren't many. And yes my love for the Browns is certainly diminished for the last few regimes especially Jimmy Haslam. I do occasionally find players that I root for whatever reason. They're never here really long enough to form a bond with and I blame management. That slide began maybe a little bit before Bernie and Brian's side.
- You troll your own fan base. Your posts celebrate a player on another team. Almost actively rooting against the Browns. That reminds me, no updates from you since the Bucs went on their losing 3 of the last 4.
☆My own fan base? Anyway you are correct I considered copying and pasting the Buccaneers losses recently. They've had their asses handed to them by some of the best teams in the league. While my Cleveland Browns have beaten two of the worst. It's not that I'm a Buccaneers fan it's just that I think that we f***** up by not keeping Baker Mayfield. And simple and spending the money we wasted on your buddy Watson for other team needs.
- You have the nerve to pop in, complaining *about* people complaining. Mostly revolving around non-existent stuff. Then you hang the shutdown of the board over posters heads like an emotional anchor or ultimatum.
☆Yes that comes up once a year. Renewal time rolls around and I have the option of signing on for another full year on the hook for the entire amount which is siphoned off by the month. Or paying a premium for a month by month which could be canceled at any time. I always seriously consider just pulling the plug on the whole thing but for some reason.. I asked guys not to be assholes but very few listen. And since you asked before I think I wouldn't hand over operations to you because I get the feeling you'd be a vindictive eagle maniac. Lots of guys I haven't turned it over for the same reason no names please. When next fall rolls around and you think you have a fan base big enough to follow you to the promised land get hold of the people who power this board start your own. Or if you think the grass is greener go join the town drunk on barking hard.

A poster with the financial and technical skillset has offered to take the whole thing off your hands AND make improvements. We DO know that this year they pushed him out of the Friday coaches meeting where the game strategy was discussed with management / ownership.
To Topic: This is a good forum. We're allowed to color outside of the lines to some extent. There are some that dig a little too hard if you ask me...but...it's like...if you wanna have guns then you've gotta put up with shootings...kind of thing. But since it's not guns and shooting, my only issue is having to scroll through the back & forth bickering now and then. I've never had to complain to a moderator about anyone. But I DO have a few names on my ignore list...and that pretty much solves the issue.

I think you're missing the point. Whether or not another user could do anything "better" isn't the point. The point is that you can't really complain about the burden of running the board when you have a very clear option to remove that burden.

Clicked on my Browns Board bookmark for the first time in months and saw the title of this thread and feared it was another Tour thread when he announced his illness, and I'm really glad it was something else.
^ With that being said, this thread is an example of the reason I no longer participate here and judging from the current game day threads that are now lucky to get to a whopping 3 pages - when they used to break into the 20s, I'm not alone. You've had a thankless job Steve trying to keep the ship afloat and you've done way more than 99% of the forum members.
Man I miss the glory days when Tour was the main poster on this forum, but nothing lasts forever...
