This has always been a rough & tumble spot in my time here, roundabout 10 years now. It’s a goofy OP, but speaks to the importance of why we stick around. I like that about this haunt.

But hard to complain about the burden of running the forum, how hard it is, how mean people are, etc when there are multiple people willing to take it over and you refuse to pass the reigns

I am sorry that people are being mean to you. As hope that I am not. We can agree to disagree. As need to be kind and understanding. Not the first nor will it be the last time I have been on a board that can be not so nice. But it is careful to be nice and understanding.

I think you're missing the point. Whether or not another user could do anything "better" isn't the point. The point is that you can't really complain about the burden of running the board when you have a very clear option to remove that burden.

Clicked on my Browns Board bookmark for the first time in months and saw the title of this thread and feared it was another Tour thread when he announced his illness, and I'm really glad it was something else.
^ With that being said, this thread is an example of the reason I no longer participate here and judging from the current game day threads that are now lucky to get to a whopping 3 pages - when they used to break into the 20s, I'm not alone. You've had a thankless job Steve trying to keep the ship afloat and you've done way more than 99% of the forum members.
Man I miss the glory days when Tour was the main poster on this forum, but nothing lasts forever...

I've been here nearly since the beginning, yes it's changed like everything else in life.
Personally, I've tried interacting on game day thread(s) but I just can't do it, I'm too attached to the game to type & pay attention.
Regarding this board/thread, I think it's a combo of the Browns sucking again and a general toxic environment of online behavior everywhere.
You could come back and add to the board, just ignore the toxicity.

We're taking a pit stop in Dayton to visit my nephew, and a family friend, while doing some good eats at The Pine Club.. A 100 year old steakhouse in Dayton. Go bucks,Go Cavs and Go Browns.. And I just reserved my season ticket seats for A&M's first ever Playoff game which will be at Kyle Field on the A&M campus. Opponent will not be known until the last CFP selection show next week. I'm hoping BYU upsets T. Tech because that would move us into the 6 spot against one of the lower rated at large conference teams. I really don't want to see a rematch with either N. Dame or a scooted in Texas (at some other school's expense).
