Tale of the Tape - Browns @ Bears
-
Brrrr!
The Bears were taking about a new domed stadium before we were, but it’s been quiet lately about that
-
Jerome Ford is put on IR. He was our primary KR. And they liked using him on 3rd down. He did a good job in both roles. They signed Trayveon Williams off the Chargers PS.
-
Williams was with the Browns earlier, so they are familiar with him already.
I thought so. TC & PreSeason, correct?

He didn't make the 53 and was placed on the PS for about 2 weeks before being cut. From there he went to LAs PS about a month and a half later where he remained until we signed him. I assume this means he is now on the 53 since you can't just move someone from one team's PS to another without fully activating. I think he's better than Ford (the blind man) because he has better vision. He had over 3,600 yds rushing in 3 SEC years with A&M. Plus over 500 in receptions.

Keep an eye out on the weather, right now the forecast is pretty brutal with the wind & cold.

while these two teams are obviously used to playing in the blistering cold, this might be a little extreme, even for them, with temperatures around -20 degrees:
“It’s going to be FREEZING in Chicago for Browns-Bears on Sunday,” Yahoo Sports posted on X.
This might not be safe for people in attendance at Soldier Field. Then again, the show must go on,
.....Yup, the show must go on. Of course, we don't know for sure what the temperature or conditions will be from today until Sunday but let's just say the temp is somewhere below negative ten degrees.....that's not good for the human body / skin. And as for the 2 teams being used to playing in the blistering cold, that's bullshit. If it's too cold outside they practice indoors. Nobody likes playing in those temps. The ball slides through your frozen hands no matter which uniform you're wearing.

Well at least our QB played in Colorado where it can also be cold and windy.

OK, it's not looking like we're going to win this one with the number guys that we'll have out.
So, what do we want? We want the Giants to beat the Commanders. That's the one that has a snowball's chance in hell of happening.
We'll want the Raiders over the Eagles.....the Titans over the 49'ers....and of course, the Jets over the Jaguars.
I'm thinking that if all of that happens we get the #1 overall pick.

Depends on if they want Mendoza.
If not, we could get quite a haul.
Getting to #1 would give us more and better choices.

Depends on if they want Mendoza.
A rumor going around is Arch may come out for the draft, lets hope not

Got a girthy map for the game this week. A big chunk of central USA will be tuning in for a cold weather battle royale amongst 2 cold weather teams.
All of Ohio is in. So is MI, IN, MN, IL, WI, IA, CO, NE, both Dakotas, and most of KS, KY, MO, WY and CO. Some spillover into PA and WV as well.
For the second week in a row, southwest MS is in the house, and l figured out why this time. It’s where Deion and Shedeur started at Jackson State.
The greater Fort Myers area is in this week too, and that’s where Deion is from. I had no idea Deion had that much pull. Good for him.
Here’s a song from another Jackson.
