while these two teams are obviously used to playing in the blistering cold, this might be a little extreme, even for them, with temperatures around -20 degrees:

“It’s going to be FREEZING in Chicago for Browns-Bears on Sunday,” Yahoo Sports posted on X.

This might not be safe for people in attendance at Soldier Field. Then again, the show must go on,

.....Yup, the show must go on.  Of course, we don't know for sure what the temperature or conditions will be from today until Sunday but let's just say the temp is somewhere below negative ten degrees.....that's not good for the human body / skin.  And as for the 2 teams being used to playing in the blistering cold, that's bullshit.  If it's too cold outside they practice indoors.  Nobody likes playing in those temps.  The ball slides through your frozen hands no matter which uniform you're wearing.

  • Well at least our QB played in Colorado where it can also be cold and windy.

  • Well, we didn't get back Conklin or Teller....so....Bitonio is the only starter on the OL.   🙁

    Injury report: Browns - Out:

    Right tackle Jack Conklin (concussion),

    defensive tackle Adin Huntington (quad),

    tight end David Njoku (knee),

running back Dylan Sampson (calf, hand),

    right guard Wyatt Teller (calf),

    cornerback Denzel Ward (calf), and

    quarterback Deshaun Watson (Achilles).

    Questionable:

left guard Joel Bitonio (knee, back),

    wide receiver Malachi Corley (concussion),

    defensive tackle Mason Graham (ribs),

wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion, ribs),

    guard Zak Zinter (back).

    Bears - Out:

    Defensive back Kyler Gordon (groin)

    running back Travis Homer (ankle).

Questionable: Wide receiver Rome Odunze (foot).

  • OK, it's not looking like we're going to win this one with the number guys that we'll have out.

So, what do we want?  We want the Giants to beat the Commanders.  That's the one that has a snowball's chance in hell of happening.

We'll want the Raiders over the Eagles.....the Titans over the 49'ers....and of course, the Jets over the Jaguars.

I'm thinking that if all of that happens we get the #1 overall pick.

Depends on if they want Mendoza.

If not, we could get quite a haul. We got a ton to move from #2 to 5 and that wasn’t even for a possible franchise QB.

Getting to #1 would give us more and better choices.

And then we'd have cal updating us on the stellar career elsewhere of one QB named Sanders.??

  • Got a girthy map for the game this week. A big chunk of central USA will be tuning in for a cold weather battle royale amongst 2 cold weather teams.

All of Ohio is in. So is MI, IN, MN, IL, WI, IA, CO, NE, both Dakotas, and most of KS, KY, MO, WY and CO. Some spillover into PA and WV as well.

For the second week in a row, southwest MS is in the house, and l figured out why this time. It’s where Deion and Shedeur started at Jackson State.

The greater Fort Myers area is in this week too, and that’s where Deion is from. I had no idea Deion had that much pull. Good for him.

Here’s a song from another Jackson.

  •  This is Jack Conklins 42nd missed game in the last five years.

For those counting he’s missed more games in that time than he has played

...wasn't counting but yes, it seems as though he's always out injured.

He's been very good this year, especially his tackling ( which he needed improvement on IMHO).
