Attempt to block Brook Park means practically handing the Browns to another State

Leave it to the Cleveland Simpletons.
Like it or not, the Haslam's have been a Godsend to Cleveland and Ohio. They are movers and shakers and have spent tens of millions, maybe hundreds of millions helping to improve the community.
If these boneheaded Clevelanders who don't like Billionaires and want to flex position over money, sorry, money wins. Let Halsam sell the team to some group who will move the team to Oklahoma City or wherever. That will help NE Ohio.
If I was a politician, I would do everything I could to encourage as many billionaires as I could in to my community. They build stadiums, contribute to the arts, education, build health wings at hospitals, library's, buy tables at every fundraising function. Let's be real here.
How simple minded are these people?

Might have to move this to the poli board lol.
They've broken ground in Berea with the Project 46 development, so I seriously doubt they are looking elsewhere, but yes it's concerning.
Like I wrote earlier in this thread, NE Ohio gets in its own way on economic development, and the commies at the state house aren't any better.
The whole fight over "unclaimed funds" is comical to me. Haslam said he'd reimburse the state.

Thanks Bob! None of the following is directed at you - it's just an appropriate place to mention some things. The part in bold should end the concern. On the other hand, it did come from a guy that had one of the most controversial rebate scams in the country. Most rebates are set up to take advantage of people being too lazy to fill out the form to get it. Unfortunately Jimmy's business (Pilot) took it a step further. They weren't even telling their customers about the rebate or handing them the form to complete to get it. That wasn't by accident either. I lived in Nashville for 11 years so I was well aware of it. It had nothing to do with what political party Jimmy was in IMO. Extremely wealthy people get away with a lot in this country so they continue to challenge the boundaries with wrist slap consequences at worst. If billionaires paid taxes like they should - it could solve a lot more problems than people think. We might even have an affordable health plan for 100% of the middle class instead of the reality about to hit. Listening to whining and bs from people pretending migrant workers in apple orchards without healthcare benefits at salaries below minimum wage are stealing their American dream - really?
They'll work it all out at Brook Park...

Just look at the City of Cleveland and the downtown area. There hasn't been a decent Mayor here since Mayor White. These people don't give a crap about anything other than their kickbacks. The city government is an absolute joke and embarrassment, and really doesn't deserve a professional sports team. I've had many service contracts with them over the last 30 years. They are completely dysfunctional and will never change.

Come to the poli board and we can discuss that view.
A lot of the confusion comes from both sides differentiating illegal immigration and what our legal immigration is.

I shouldn't have shared any political thoughts. I want you guys that visit this forum to enjoy it when you do so. It seems like we have fun with the common ground shared on the football board.

I hope it doesn't happen, but....
that would just have all of the Browns fans making the NFL give us a team again.
Then we wouldn't HAVE to have the name back. We get rid of the haslams screwing everything up. We get a completely new start, and we could be the...eh... Cleveland Bisons. or...something....Our new division would be the Bills, steelers, cincy and the Colts.
Only this time, we get to keep our players here. or at least the defense !
or we still KEEP the Browns name, too and have a great owner who hires a great coach and a great team and..........
we keep all of our players? LOL.
no, we just need a new HC and owners.
and maybe a new GM. That should fix everything.
just get the watson trade stink out of ohio somehow.

How about the Orlando Browns??
You missed your chance - there's only 1 left. Geez, I didn't mean for this to get creepy. I liked Zeus - especially the 1st time he played for us!
