    1. Browns record?

    Bob806: 7-9-1
    syd: 4-13
    TexasAg1969: 9-8
    Marvin: 5-12
    darkside5: 10-7
    DBone: 6-11
    Ibleedbrown: 8-9
    Flugel: 9-8
    Horseballs: 13-4
    nickers: 5-12
    AP1: 7-10
    SDBacker 6-11
    DutchOven: 5-12

Answer:  Your Cleveland Browns finished the season 5-12 in Kevin Stefanski's sixth and last season as head coach of the Browns.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Another rough season for us Browns fans, as an ineffective offense and deficient special teams unit torpedoed a playoff-caliber defense. The Browns actually would have ended up with the #1 overall pick but they beat rivals Pittsburgh and Cincinnati in the last two games of the season to salvage a 5-12 season. Marvin, nickers and Dutch Oven share this tasty winner's treat.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... Kind of surprised to see four of the brave souls who did this year's 'Questions' predicted a winning season. I'm guessing they were thinking we were going to have a redux of the Flacco 2023 Browns season, but it was for naught. Naught, I say. As per his usual jolly, the glass is half full nature, Horseballs aka Zombo wins this dubious honor.

...and this brings us to the Defense Wins Championships that some have touted as the way to build a team....and a way to win.  The Defense doesn't mean jack-shit until the offense can get you to the playoffs.  Then, and only then, can the defense be the determining factor.  And we need to remember that when we're on the clock at picks 6 and 24.  Adding shiny new high picks to our Defense will not improve our chances to win more games.   Only by adding OLinemen & WR's will the chances of winning more games improve.

In this instance... I hate the outcome of the teams record...(We all do). I hate even making predictions... But This was made on 2 distinct factors...

    Kevin Stefanski:

I never liked the hiring of this buffoon from the start... I never thought he was the "Alpha" that Depodesta championed him to be.... I never like his adjustments or lack thereof.. I believe the players in the locker room saw right through him. He was stubborn to continue to call his own plays... I absolutely hate the WildKat... It doesn't really fool anybody

    Personnel:

The O line was a concern as was the skill positions. Jerry Jeudy seemed to get worse as the season went on... The Bright spots were Judkins,Fannin and Sampson and of course Carson Schwesinger., Mason Graham. I think Cedric Tillman enters his 3rd and pivitol season upcoming to see if he belongs so my grade on him thus far is "Unsatisfactory"

    Front Office/Coaching:

Once again we find ourselves at another crossroads.. Another coaching search... And the Talking heads are laughing their asses off finding out now the Browns are giving what amounts to SAT tests and questionaires and requiring Candidates to write silly essays... This Ownerships ineptness continues to haunt and stutter this teams evolution.

Who in their right mind beside Mike Martz wants this job?

Well I wrote 99 times "I will draft an offensive lineman" and put my resume in a self-addressed and stamped envelope to 76 Lou Groza Blvd. I'll let you know if they get back to me?

    2. Bengals record?

    Bob806: 7-10
    syd: 8-9
    TexAg1969: 9-8
    Marvin: 11-6
    darkside5: 11-6
    DBone: 10-7
    Ibleedbrown: 6-11
    Flugel: 10-7
    HorseBalls: 9-8
    nickers: 8-9
    AP1: 7-10
    SDBacker: 10-7
    Dutch Oven: 11-6

Answer: The Cincinnati Bengals finished the 2025 season 6-11.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Another Bengals season torpedoed by a poor defense and a chunk of games missed due to another injury Joe Burrow. The crazy thing is Zac Taylor is the only AFC North head coach who kept his job, with the Browns and Ravens firing Kevin Stefanski and John Harbaugh, and Mike Tomlin resigning from the Steelers - which means technically the Steelers still haven't fired a head coach since the height of the Vietnam War. Southwest Ohio resident Ibleedbrown nails down the win.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... Quite a few of us thought the Bengals were going to be a AFC North division crown contender, which never planned out. Marvin, darkside5, and Dutch Oven swung and missed.

    3. Ravens record?

    Bob806: 11-6
    syd: 13-4
    TexAg1969: 12-5
    Marvin: 11-6
    darkside5: 11-6
    DBone: 12-5
    Ibleedbrown: 12-3-2
    Flugel: 12-5
    HorseBalls: 9-8
    nickers: 9-8
    AP1: 12-5
    SDBacker: 11-6
    Dutch Oven: 12-5

Answer: The Baltimore Ravens finished the 2025 season 8-9.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Like the Bengals, the Ravens season somewhat was a struggle because of injuries, specifically to their starting QB Lamar Jackson. Even when he was on the field, he was somewhat of a shell of his usual explosive self. Even so, they were a missed field goal from winning the division. The disappointing season cost John Harbaugh his head coaching gig, after almost two decades on the job. 11 of 13 predictors thought they were a 11-6 team or better, but HorseBalls and nickers thought they were a middling team, which they ended up being.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to...  Usually its a pretty safe bet to expect a good record from the Ravens, as the overwhelming majority of us did, but this season was the exception, biting Ibleedbrown in his backside.

    4. Steelers record?

    Bob806: 10-7
    syd: 7-10

    Marvin: 10-7
    darkside5: 9-8
    DBone: 9-8
    Ibleedbrown: 6-10-1
    Flugel: 11-6
    HorseBalls: 8-9
    nickers: 5-12
    AP1: 9-8
    SDBacker: 8-9
    Dutch Oven: 10-7

Answer: The Pittsburgh Steelers finished the season 10-7, winning the AFC North.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: The proverbial turd that won't flush, the Steelers in Mike Tomlin's last season as head coach pared a good defense with a good-enough offense to win the AFC North title, before once again getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Tomlin resigned after the season ended, in probably was the closest thing you'll see in the NFL of a "Both parties decided to mutually split" situation. Bob806, Marvin and Dutch Oven for the win.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... The majority of us thought this was a 7-10 win team, but in all the Tomlin years the Stillers never finished under .500, and the streak endured his entire run. While I appreciate the optimism, nickers wears the dunce hat on this question.

    5. How many points do the Browns score in 2025? How many do they allow?

    Bob806: 356, 323
    syd: 333, 304
    TexAg1969: 410, 335
    Marvin: 310, 385

    AP1: 400, 399
    SDBacker: 314, 355
    Dutch Oven: 350, 408

    Answer: The Browns scored 279 points in 2025 (16.4 pts/game), and allowed 379 points (22.3 pts/game).

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Sigh. The Browns allowed just over 22 points a game, very respectable, and were within a whisker of ending up with the #1 overall pick. Rookie QBs behind a beat up, rag tag OLine and perhaps the weakest WR room in the NFL is no way to go through life, son. Marvin overall was the closest.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... Even the closest offensive prediction was almost two points a game high, While nickers damn near nailed the defensive prediction, I'm not sure what he was thinking regarding his offensive points scored prediction. ?

    6. How many games does Joe Flacco start for the Browns in 2025?

    Bob806: 10
    syd: 9
    TexasAg1969: 11
    Marvin: 10
    darkside5: 15

    Flugel: 7
    HorseBalls: 17
    nickers: 17
    AP1: 11
    SDBacker: 6
    Dutch Oven: 9

Answer: Joe Flacco was not able to replicate the magical run he had in 2023 with the Browns, only starting the first four games of the season before being traded to the rival Bengals.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: 11 of the 13 brave enough to do these predictions thought Flacco would start over half the games in 2025, but the plug got pulled on the ol' vet very early, as the offense was a slog under him. (That would not change the last 13 games). SDBacker had the closest prediction.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... It's always a lofty goal to have ANY starting QB start every game, especially one that is closer to his AARP card than his original draft age, but HorseBalls and nickers predicted it.

Answer: Dillon Gabriel started 6 games for the Browns in 2025.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Gabriel dinked and dunked his way to a half dozen starts, while he did a decent job of limiting turnovers, he did little to dispel the thought that he's a low ceiling, fringe backup type guy. DBone nailed this one.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... No one expected Gabriel to wrestle the job from Flacco early on and start the rest of the season, but HorseBalls and nickers swung and missed by predicting zero starts from the diminutive Duck.

    8. How many games does Shadeur Sanders start for the Browns in 2025?

    Flugel: 1
    HorseBalls: 0

    AP1: 2
    SDBacker: 1
    Dutch Oven: 2

Answer: Shadeur Sanders started 7 games for the Browns in 2025.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Sanders started Training Camp as the #4 QB, throwing passes to waterboys as Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett were the presumptive guys battling for the starting job. Dillon Gabriel seemed locked in as one of their backups, but Pickett's hamstring injury threw a wrench in the well-oiled plans of the Browns regarding the QB situation. Pickett was traded to Las Vegas for a fifth round pick, Flacco was named starter, Gabriel his backup, Sanders the #3 QB. Flacco struggled in his four starts and was traded to Cincinnati, Gabriel was unimpressive so the Shadeur Sanders Era started, and he actually lead the Browns in QB starts. Expectations on playing time for Sanders was low on here, I guess Syd wins with his prediction of three starts.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... All of us expected little playing time for Sanders, but darkside5, Ibleedbrown, HoraeBalls and nickers predicted zero starts for the eventual leader of starts for a Browns QB in 2025.

    9. The Browns have two first round draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft - theirs and Jacksonville's. What draft positions are they?

    Bob806: 8, 14
    syd: 2, 8
    TexAg1969: 7, 18
    Marvin: 4. 16
    darkside5: 8. 14
    DBone: 6, 9
    Ibleedbrown: 14, 22
    Flugel: 16, 18
    HorseBalls: 8, 32
    nickers: NA
    AP1: 4, 12
    SDBacker: 6, 10
    Dutch Oven: 5, 11

Answer: The Browns own first round pick ended up #6 overall, Jacksonville's #24.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: To say I was excited when I heard what we got out of Jacksonville to move from #2 overall to #5 in the '25 Draft is a massive understatement. Not only did we pick up their '26 first rounder, we picked up their HIGH second rounder in that draft! I probably looked like Ralphie's dad in the 'A Christmas Story' as he eyed the Christmas turkey. "We could end up with two top 10 first rounders in '26!" I excitedly exclaimed! Well the Browns held up their half of the deal, but the Jaguars pulled a really good season out of their ass to the point that I stopped paying attention if they won or lost since the draft pick had already fallen so far. Overall, TexAg was the closest overall I suppose.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... I see why Syd made his prediction, but sadly we didn't end up anywhere near having two top ten first rounders.

    10. How many yards, touchdowns and interceptions does Joe Flacco throw for?

    Bob806: 2760, 18, 11
    syd: 2250, 16, 12
    TexAg1969: 3500, 28, 18

    nickers: 4300, 29, 8
    AP1: 2500, 18, 9
    SDBacker: 1271, 8, 7
    Dutch Oven: 2259, 15, 10

Answer: Joe Flacco only started four games for the Browns in 2025, throwing for 815 yards with 2 touchdowns and 6 interceptions.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Safe to say we were not able to harness the Flacco Magic from 2023. Behind a poor OLine and with possibly a league worst WR room, Flacco struggled mightily in his short stint with the Browns. His 5.1 yards per attempt was laughably low. SDBacker wasn't expecting much from the vet, yet he didn't even see this bad of a run.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... When you have optimistic predictions for a team that limps to a 5-12 record, you end up unfortunately ending up in this section a lot. HorseBalls and nickers were just a bit outside with this Flacco predictions.

Answer: Dillon Gabriel started six games for the Browns in 2025, throwing for 937 yards with 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: On a positive note, you gotta like a backup QB for can throw for 3.5 touchdowns for every interceptions. Still, the offense was pretty stagnant under Dillon, obviously not all of his fault for reasons already stated with Flacco's question. Like Flacco, Gabriel dinked and dunked his way to a 5.1 yards per attempt. He didn't come to a ready-made offense, but he confirmed his low ceiling status in his playing time. Bob806 wins.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... On the high side was Flugel, on the low side was HorseBalls and nickers.

    12. How many yards, touchdowns and interceptions does Shadeur Sanders throw for?

Answer: Shadeur Sanders started seven games for the Browns in 2025, throwing for 1400 yards with 7 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Sanders was the 4th string QB for most of training camp and ended up starting the most games as QB. It was a mixed bag of course, and he played loose with the ball in comparison to Gabriel, but his yards per attempt were a yard and half more than Flacco and Gabriel. Is he a legit starting QB in the future? A guy the Browns can build around for the future? I honestly don't know, but I saw enough to give him a chance. He played much more than any of us expected, but I'll give Syd the win on this question.

And the 'Big Dummy Award' goes to... No one obviously predicted major things for Sanders, but darkside5, Horse Balls and nickers predicted nothing.
