Calfox's Last Chance Stupidest Mock Draft 2026

only 4 rounds - but my better instincts are kicking in after serious goofy analysis and confusion, and a whole lot of iced tea.
This draft is crazy. I do believe that the Giants pick Tate at 5. I'm guessing that Downs has to be the choice, but I think he could also be gone..... But, at every Browns draft party, Browns fans should not be drinking any drink they have, or they might spit it out at the choice actually announced by the Browns.
FIRST ROUND A/PICK 6: Kenyon Sadiq, TE ! All Browns fans will go apecrap, but this pick is a great one. Sadiq has 4.38 forty speed, with wr skills, 6'3, the Browns need a great wr, he is a great tight end. You heard it here first !
First ROUND B/PICK 20: Max Iheanachor, OT. The Browns give up a later draft pick to the Cowboys, to move up 4 picks, AHEAD of the squeelers, to get their OLT. Iheanachor is a GREAT pick here. Let the squeeler fans spit up their beer.
SECOND ROUND This pick is the Browns WR - Germie Bernard - might be the safest wr pick after Tate. 6'1", 206 lbs, 4.48.THIRD ROUND: SAM HECHT, CENTER. Just about the smartest, one of the very best centers in the draft. Conner Lew is slightly more highly rated, but is coming off an Achilles tendon injury.FOURTH ROUND: DREW ALLAR, QB, Penn State. Well, he was my favorite qb a few years ago, so this is my personal bias pick. I did over-rate Mark Gronowski a good bit, but Drew Allar has serious skills where Gronowski has weaknesses. Gotta pick a qb that can be a legit backup to Sanders.yes, all four are offense. If it weren't for Sadiq being a dramatic addition to the offense, it could have been Caleb Downs or Sonny Styles, if they were available.only 4 rounds - but my better instincts are kicking in after serious goofy analysis and confusion, and a whole lot of iced tea.

? I don't think I've read a more entertaining 1st line of a post all year. As much as I'd love Carnell Tate's awesome skillset via route precision/ideal hands and ability to catch passes when well covered/in traffic the elite way former Buckeye and NFL HOF WR Cris Carter always did it - there's other WRs in this draft that can help the Browns. I say that because the NY Jets draft #2 overall (after 2025 knee injury to Garrett Wilson) and the Titans are drafting #4 overall before we even get to the Giants at #5. Monken is used to using BOTH TEs as he did with the Ratbirds (Andrews & Likely) but he can also use Sadiq as a slot or flanker or WR.
Iheanachor didn't even play organized football before college unless we're talking futbol; BUT that is why he's such an incredible true story that unfolded at ASU. This is so good that here's a RT with the feet and athleticism NFL teams are said to be looking at as a potential fit at LT. I don't know if it'll be quite as high as the 1st round - at the same time it wouldn't surprise me at all if someone did select him there.

1. I don't hate Sadiq here, but I'd rather have Tate, but I get the intrigue for Sadiq.
2. I really like Iheanachor, and in the last week have kind of went from wanting to trade down from 6 and take Lomu or Freeling to wanting Iheanachor at 39. I like his upside and like the idea of taking a development tackle later than with the first pick, and Lomu and Freeling probably aren't plug and play guys.
3. My love for Bernard is well known.
4. A center in the third round just makes so much sense for the Browns.
5. All jokes aside, I'd much rather use a 4th on Allar than the 3rd last draft we used on the Pint-Sized Polynesian.

Still like Lomu (factoring in upside for the 21 year old rs sophomore); but 2 LTs catching my attention in recent weeks here are Miami's Markel Bell and Maryland/Northwestern's Caleb Tiernan (cut and pastes below) while I'd even be open to Iheanachor at this point and I wouldn't even protest Mauigoa-get'em (that can start at 3 different positions). It's time to start considering the possibilities near the end of round 1 and into our round 2 slot (if they go Buckeye defensive guy 1st and WR next). I'm still a football enthusiast version of LT/OTackle slut so let's giddy-up and get after it here:
Caleb Tiernan:
-
I would take Tate over Sadiq but Saidiq my 2nd option WR/TE.
I like it otherwise but I wouldn’t take Allar before the 7th round
-
-
so what if we sent myles back to texas ? #12 and #20 be enough ?
Myles goes nowhere unless a known franchise QB comes to us (not a hopeful one that we pick) and that’s not likely to happen.
Mahomes
Burrow
Allen
Caleb Williams plus picks
Lawrence plus picks
Stroud plus picks
I have no desire to send him to a contender and get end of first round picks for him

I would take Beck from Georgia and Miami before I would take a guy with a season ending injury in 2026. And right around round 4 or 5. Give away last year's mistaken on the lake from the 3rd round. How many QB mistakes have the Browns made since their return anyway? Allar would be one more IMO. But like Beck, at least he can see over the line. Both are 6'5".

Beck is my mid round darkhorse this year.

Watch your dirty pirate whore mouth, sir.
Please don’t speak this into existence.

"Head coach Todd Monken (helped recruit) Freeling at Georgia. He's a late bloomer, but several GMs told me they think he could be the best LT in the draft in a year or two. Browns have time," La Canfora wrote, adding of McNeil-Warren: "This is a hybrid prospect who would be up their alley. The Browns need help everywhere, and they could see Emmanuel McNeil-Warren as getting two players in one."

It is worth noting that Beck and Allar don't have star qb projections.
I just think that Beck has reached his limit of development, and Allar has far more upside, if he can overcome his lost time due to injury. Both have had their troubles:

"
OverviewThree-year starter who has weathered his share of ups and downs. Beck has NFL-caliber size and a lot of experience playing in high-leverage games. He recovered from 2024 UCL surgery on his throwing elbow, but he appeared to lose some drive velocity on deep balls and move throws. He works through progressions at a good pace and can throw with anticipation, but he loses track of safeties, throwing into hazardous spots. Beck’s decision-making showed more maturity in his final college season, but pressure can pull him back into old habits. He spins a catchable ball with a compact release, but spotty accuracy leads to pass breakups and a lower conversion rate on tight-window throws. Beck projects as a good backup with the potential to earn a starting job down the road, but he must continue developing game-managing instincts."

Overview
Allar looks the part with prototypical size and an effortless arm that can make any NFL throw. However, inconsistent touch and ball placement are a major hindrance. In big moments and big games, he hasn’t proven he can rise to the occasion or sustain efficiency. The stats looked good in a conservative offense as a sophomore, but his play became more erratic once the playbook was opened up and more responsibility was put on his plate. He can be slow to process and get to his best option. He also struggles to adjust his pre-snap plan to fit the coverage. It’s worth noting Allar’s receivers struggled to win man-coverage matchups for him. Against zone, he makes anticipatory throws and beats coverage at an adequate clip. Mechanical fixes are possible, but confidence, poise and recognition must be the foundation of any rebound. Allar projects as an average backup with high-end traits."

Having said that, Beck has had a terrific group of wr's to work with. Not nearly the cases with Allar at Penn State.
"
No returning FBS quarterback threw for more yards than Carson Beck’s 3,941 last season.
There’s little reason to believe that Beck can’t match or top that this season in his second year as the Georgia football starter.
A big reason: the many options in the Bulldogs' wide receiver group.
“Shoot, our whole receiver room, it’s deep, man,” junior Dillon Bell said. “We’ve got a lot of guys two, three deep at one position, where guys can make plays. I feel like we’ve got the best receiving corps in the SEC. Not only the SEC, in the nation. We’ve got a lot of weapons.” "

so, again, I just think Beck won't grow dynamically in the pros, but I think Allar can.
"
Jun 15, 2025Penn State's 2024 season ended with a loss in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal against Notre Dame. Most notably, the Nittany Lions' wide receivers struggled to make an impact in the passing game, putting quarterback Drew Allar in a tough spot with their "So, who knows.Allar has the arm strength were several others don't."Drew Allar is projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, with some analysts suggesting he could be selected on day two. His projection is influenced by his prototypical NFL size, arm talent, and mental processing, but also by inconsistencies in accuracy, pocket movement, and decision-making under pressure"I don't know. lol -

if Downs is there, I just don't know how you don't draft him.
Freeling would be a great LT choice, but if Sadiq could be the pick, maybe freeling would be there at 20. (trading up ahead of the squeelers) lol
