  • So here’s a question for you guys to ponder: what QB are the Browns drafting this year? You know they’re going to draft one, likely not in the first round, but somewhere. Or picking one up as a udfa after the draft.

    I’m going with Carson Beck.

There's a connection with Beck's dad and Monken.

I just don't see the point considering they drafted two last draft and are obviously going to be scouting all this coming college season for a #1 QB, unless Shadeur shocks the world and grabs the starting job by the haunches and humps it into submission.

You read that right, by the way.

    If King goes undrafted?

He's the 2025 ACC player of the year, from A&M to Georgia Tech

QB Haynes King ..   He's known primarily as a hard-charging runner, but he grew as a passer, completing 71.1% of his passes during his final two seasons and cutting down his interceptions. King had the top times for both 3-cone drill (6.89 seconds) and 20-yard shuttle (4.17 seconds) among quarterbacks at the combine, while finishing second in the 40-yard dash (4.46 seconds)."

  • IT'S

"are we trading pick #6" ?

  • Happy First Day of the Draft to all that celebrate.

May the Browns be swift and powerful the next three days, and strike down with furious anger all that oppose us.

    Amen.

  • A good Draft Day to you all.

Friendly reminder, if you don't want to use the forum for live chat - the RT9 discord is available to all of you.     I'll try to check in throughout the night.

    Go Browns!

If they take a QB, it shouldn’t be before the third day and preferably at the end of the draft.

If 27 is our target year you would presumably add a veteran next year too so you are starting to run out of room on the roster.

  • Watching Mauigoa struggle vs NOD's edges from this past season and growing more despondent at this RT class.

Maybe Blake Miller at this point?    Mauigoa moves ok enough for being his size.  Needs quite a bit of work before he becomes Penei Sewell though.

Beck is tia and my darkhorse mid rounds pick this year.

  • Question Of The Day: How much would you pay to be able to sit in on the Browns draft war room for a draft?

I’d probably just sign over my coming-any-day DOGE and Tariff refund checks to the Browns. It would be so fascinating to be a fly on the wall.

Not a lot.  I’d pay a lot to watch the Browns Super Bowl banquet booze fest from the Browns facility with other Browns fans.

The draft room looked pretty boring last year.  College classroom style lecture room - suits and clapping.

I think the actual work is done in the days leading up to the draft.

The unplugged conversations about players and teams would be interesting to hear though.

I'm curious to see if Berry gets away from some of these age drafting guardrails BS ? Were these more of a Depo, hot garbage thing that Dorsey would toss into trash?

If not? Will Andrew Berry give a covid year(s) age discount ?

Berry draft sweet spot has been ages 21 & 22.. 4 of 5 he's drafted over age 23, may not make this roster this year..(LB Bogie Watson, Thrash, Tillman, Zinter )

  • I think Goodell gets a kick out of being boo’d.

  • Will they trade out of 6? All the talk is with Dallas. Guess depends on any shake up in the top 5. 12,20,24 is pretty nice.

  • Bailey at #2 doesn’t surprise me.

The Jets needed help on D

  • Well the Cards pick will make some of you happy as it leaves a defensive player available for ya

  • I’m thinking the Tits will draft Reese

  • CRAP!  I hate TN

  • Wow, Tate to the Tits
