I agree with Tia's comments on versatility. That is well and good but IMO it is a term used when describing back-up linemen.
I don't think Joe Thomas was ever described as a versatile lineman.

Which just stresses how Ohio State's OLine play has to improve in the years to come. The mediocre OLine kept the Buckeyes from winning another title last season.
Good thing is the newish OLine coach in Columbus has been doing some quality work recruiting in the last two recruiting classes. Young talent is coming to Ohio State on the OLine, and a lot of it. That had been a problem in the years before.
