  • Is it just me but has the defense got progressively worse since the browns went to a 3-4 defense. Would be interested to see browns numbers 4-3 versus 3-4 and league 4-3 v 3-4.

  • 3-4 defenses usually dominate the league in sack leaders. In 2007 Jason Taylor, Ware, Merrimam, Harrisson all led the league in sacks & QB Pressures.

  • With the talent we have and the great playcalling daboll has been making the nfl could allow us to start 14 guys on both sides of the ball and it wouldnt make much difference...

The 3-4 is a great defense if you have the right personel we do not have the right people ive said it before we would be better off going 4-3 until we get the right players to make a 3-4 work right..

We have been rebuilding since 1964, Why stop now? GO BROWNS!

  • I'll never get why we still play3-4 with no talent for it. We'd be much better in a 4-3 since we have two great interior Dlinemen (ROgers and Williams) and OLBs who would benefit from more pressure up front.

  • We have the defensive tackles but nothing else for a 4/3. All of our linebackers save DQ are too slow for a 4/3. Maybe Wimbley would be a nice DE but might be too light in the pants.
