This is classic Skippy stirring the pot. Of course he knows he's coming off as a HUGELY hypocritical douche by asking all of us to support Anderson when he did nothing but rant and rave against Brady for 2 weeks. It's always the butt f'ugly guys who are incredibly intimidated by Quinn's hunky looks.
inspecta, I just have one question for you...
HOW DOES MY ASS TASTE???

lease Lums, glad your boy is starting, I'll be at the game, and support him as long as he's not throwing thse beautiful rockets to the Bungles.
The reality of the situation right now is like trying to decide which turd smells better.

Ole Zippy took a lot of crap for predicting that Mangini would pull the plug on Quinn if he continued to suck. Zippy didn't endorse it, he said it would happen and received the typical "you're stupid and don't now football" comments.
Even after Anderson shit the bed, tossing three INT's in the second half, Mangini made Zippy look well connected by pulling the plug on the boy wonder.
Let's all support our starting QB, now.

You should support your team. If Anderson is the guy in there, try and support him. But don't fool yourself into thinking he is a better option than Quinn. Quinn should have been left in there to make the mistakes. Mangini is making huge mistakes and Zombo made the same prediction I did... that as soon as Quinn made some mistakes and threw interceptions, he would get benched. The same thing will happen to DA and all Mangini did was divided your team instead of supporting one QB all along.

I disagree. We were actually competitive with DA and Harrison in. Lewis is done and needs to take a seat, be a mentor for these younger guys. I've been calling for Harrison to get let loose all year. They both had two extremely costly turnovers in the first quarter of the game. I was about ready to give up on the game with what I had seen this team do the past 3 weeks. As soon as Quinn threw the pick against the Vikings, we were done. As soon as the markers read third down against Denver, we were done. Baltimore... None of the team even wanted to play at that point. The first three weeks of this season, the Browns played the most uninspiring games of football I have EVER seen. However, these guys cleared their heads and came back and played some football once they got the ball again. The ability to shake off a bad play or bad sets of plays and bring your team back into the game is something BQ wasn't doing. IMO, that is FAR more important than a number or statistic that any of you want to bring up.

I'm really sorry if i came off not wanting to support Quinn ... but please, let's all support our starting QB from now on.
I Guarantee that Anderson will win this game.

Everyone is aware that if BQ would have not sucked ass so hard, no one would be glad he is riding on the pine right? Oh, and DA got booed by us superfans when he got injured.

No apology necessary ... we are 0-4, no one has figured anything out yet, including the Browns players and staff.Zombo

Even though losses SUCK and there is no such thing as moral victories; it sure was nice to have SOMETHING to freakin cheer like:
1) Good QBing from DA with the exception of the 1 INT (but that's singular).
2) Great starting RB performance from Harrison except for the 1 fumble that was returned 71 yards for a TD.
3) 2 blocked kicks
4) Overcoming a 14-0 deficit with game day adjustments, leadership and effort.
5) A #2 WR emerges in MoMass with about 140 yards receiving on a day our #1 WR completely evaporated following 2 drops. Not only that - this precise route runner was SEEN by the QB at least 9 times.
6) How many times did Josh Cribbs hand our offense the football on the Cincy side of the 50? That's invaluable.
7) The oline provided solid protection and created some nice holes for Harrison.
Human nature says one doesn't like to say "I hope I'm wrong" BUT I sincerely hope I've been as wrong about Dumb Ass as I have been about Quinn all along. Who says 2 wrongs don't make a right? If DA can show me progress or put us in a position to win like he did this last weekend - that's got me tuned in for at least 60 minutes.
Aside from the QB, it was nice to see young players like Harrison, MoMass, Adams, Cribbs, Thomas, Mack, Pool, And Wimbley (he got another sack) showing me some things we have to look forward to. Has Brodney Pool ever had a better day than you saw on Sunday? I was finally satisfied with Jackson for the first time this season. This has to be a confidence booster that this team can feed off of.

I still can't believe you nailed this ... since the switch, we are tying games, and winning games, and just a juggernaut.

You mean 1-1-0.
Both QB's suck nuts. I still love them though

Stan/Z simply laugh harder and harder at every response. I'm almost starting to laugh now.

I guess that's one way to look at it.
Its like Nicholson's comment from A Few Good Men when asked if it was "grave danger": Is there any other kind?
Seriously, is there another way to look at it?

I am a bait-taker, sure, but in this case I'm pretty sure Zombo is a "a win where we suck is still total awesomeness...who cares if we have no future!!!" type of dude. If he wasn't, he wouldn't waste THIS MUCH time defending DA. Unless he's mentally ill.
The other explanation is entertainment. You know, manipulation? (Stan: "Z, watch this." chuckle chuckle)

Yep, we are 1-0-1 in the Mangini-Anderson era, so no regrets so far.But I guess everyone wants pretty stats if we are going to go ahead and beat Pittsburgh.

Like the game yesterday was a win on paper? Sorry. The NFL disagrees, and they are all that counts when we get seeded for the playoffs this year!
12-4 is still realistically in reach.
